Really enjoyed our recent stay in Memphis at this loft. We were in walking distance to attractions downtown such as The Civil Rights Museum, The Peabody, River Walk, Mud Island, Beale street, and Music Museums. We also drove the easy five miles to the Zoo (which is one of the best I have ever seen) and other attractions and restaurants. The food in this area is really good, famous fried chicken right outside your door, Pearls Oyster house only a few blocks way (good fish and Cajun classics), South of Beale (a new gastro pub), The Green Beetle (one of the oldest pubs in town with good breakfast options), and many other innovative bars and restaurants. There are also art studios and antique shops near by. For the loft itself, great design choices all around, technically there are 2 full baths, and 2 half baths, so a bath on each floor and one with the washer and dryer. The spacious garage easily accommodates 2 large vehicles which is a luxury in a city. The rooftop deck was great to hang out on and having bedrooms on separate floors gave everyone the space they needed. We are not TV watchers, but each bedroom and the living area had a huge big flat screen TVs. My dogs got a lot of exercise by being able to take them to all the area restaurants with outdoor seating. This is a very dog friendly area with parks within a block that provide pick up bags. I am not sure why anyone would stay at a hotel with options like this. Definitely the place to stay in Memphis.

The listing and photos are accurate regarding location and amenities and we, along with our small dog, enjoyed the downtown experience. The location is convenient to the riverwalk and nearby restaurants such as SOB and Ita Bena on Beale Street. The two car garage was a plus with the living areas spacious and well-maintained. Internet signal worked well. All in all a great place for a downtown experience and highly recommended.

While location was great this VRBO is one of the least furnished one's we have ever stayed at, there was no kitchen towels, one of the bathrooms had no TP and even after I called the property manager and asked for kitchen towels none were delivered as promised. We were planning on cooking chilli but there was not a big pot, very minimal at best. With 100.00 and a trip to target this could be made so much better for the renters, don't plan on cooking anything anytime it is not set up for that ! Eat at Gus's chicken down the road or Blues City Cafe on Beale.

Owner response: Sorry you were disappointed as we have never ever in two years gotten this type of complaint...thus was quite surprised. For future travelers, our residence is more of a loft style kitchen. It is good for breakfast, lunch an small dinners. We provide a small breakfast table and stools at the bar.....you can see in the pictures.. It has the amenities needed to prepare but being a cook myself it is not a gourmet kitchen. Based on the feedback we will improve and give you a discount.

We found this rental very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It is in a very convenient location;a short walk to Beale St. and steps from the historic Memphis trolley. Comfortable beds! We also appreciated the convenience of a nice parking garage. Thank you.

Our ladies travel group selected this condo because of location and size. It was absolutely great! The basement garage parking was wonderful. The condo was immaculate and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. During the day, we were close enough to walk to Beale Street and several nearby restaurants. At night, we drove to Beale Street and other places in and around Memphis. The property manager and owner were very responsive to my emails and helpful throughout the rental process. I highly recommend this VRBO property.

Exceptional property for enjoying Memphis. Very spacious and comfortable. For those who want to cook in during their stay, check ahead of time for available pots and pans, etc. Nearly everything you could want within walking distance: STAX Museum, Civil Rights Museum, river walks/runs, Gus' Fried Chicken(world famous fried chicken), Macuen's (more upscale with a great bar and menu) and the Aracde (maybe Memphis oldest restaurant, great breakfast). I've already recommended this condo to friends and family who are thinking about attending the Memphis barbecue festival.

Had a lovely stay with our family who were in town to celebrate our son's graduation. Neat , clean and spacious home just a block from the river and near the trolley stops. Nice location in the art district with a number of what appeared to be unique restaurants. Unfortunately everything seems to be closed in Memphis on Monday so keep that in mind when planning your trip. Be sure to get to Gus's World Famous Chicken just down the block. There is also a Spaghetti Warehouse a couple of blocks away but we weren't able to make it there. Another fun place is The Peanut Shoppe at 24 Sount Main Street- the trolley goes right by it. Tiny place that we almost passed by but the aroma of roasting peanuts drew us in. The owners roast the peanuts on site in an 84 year old peanut roaster. They also have candy and we left with a little bit of everything. Memphis Zoo is also a real treat and free on Tuesday afternoon if you have a Tennessee resident ID. All of the people we came in contact with in Memphis were friendly and welcoming. We hope to go back again.

This property has everything as advertised. Clean, modern and great location. Inside parking is a huge plus as we only drove our car once to visit Graceland. The weather did not allow us to use the deck, but it is another plus. Close to many restaurants, but we chose SOB and Pearl's. The only reason we didn't get to Gus's was we ran out of time. The trolley made getting to Beale Street and the restaurants north very user friendly. We went to Local Gastropub off of the trolley. The only minor inconvience was lack of basic products, such as, toilet paper, paper towels, paper napkins and dish soap. Dish soap would have been handy to wash the dishes as opposed to running the dishwasher. We have stayed at like properties over the years and these items are usually provided. For us with a car, getting these items was easy, but someone without a car this may be problematic. Also, we were there when the weather was transitioning from warm to cool and we couldn't find the instructions for the heat. Overall, this is an outstanding property with a great location and is a priced right value. We would definately recommend this property.

We recommend this property heartily and with complete confidence! We recently had a wonderful stay here and would definitely return. From the ideal location (within walking distance to many great restaurants such as Gus's Fried Chicken and Pearl's Oyster House, tourist sites such as the Rock n Soul museum, the Gibson Guitar Factory Tour and famous Beale Street) to the wonderfully clean, spacious and attractive townhome, and the helpful and kind attitude of the owner, you are in for a real treat when you stay at this location. The photos give you a nice hint at the feel of the property, but aren't able to do total justice to the spaciousness and quality you will find. For example, in the Master bedroom there is a beautiful separate tub and shower and a huge walk-in closet. My husband and I had our college son join us, and we had plenty of room to spread out, but also comfortable areas to 'hang-out' together. Having the garage was great... during our 4-night stay our only drive was to Graceland. It was fun to be in an area where we could head out on foot and find so much to see and do without having to think about finding a parking place! We also enjoyed the comfy 3rd-story patio with the view of the Mississippi River bridge. We truly only have good memories of our excursion to Memphis - the area and the townhome were great, and the owner, Mark, made us feel like welcome guests. Thanks to this property, our little fall vacation to Memphis has become one of our favorite memories!!
