Quiet but very central third floor luxury fully equipped apartment (with lift) in one of the most sought after modern buildings in the heart of Juan-les-Pins. The two bedrooms each have twin beds and the sitting room has two double sofa beds.
The non-smoking apartment faces south (looking towards the sea) and west (with stunning sunsets over the mountains.) Every room has access to generous balcony which has coffee/reading area and dining table. There is a shared swimming pool and tennis court in the building grounds, while shops, restaurants, famous Juan-les-Pins jazz, casino and nightlife, and sea are all within a few minutes walking distance.
Train direct to Cannes, Nice, Monaco (and further afield) ten minutes walk away. Antibes Centre, one of the oldest towns on the French Riviera with colourful local market, Picasso museum and famous pleasure yacht harbour is 15 minutes walk away, the local bus (Nos 30 and 31)stops right outside the building.
The foothills of the Alps, with spectacular scenery, gorges, medieval villages are 30 minutes drive away. Nearest ski resort is one hour's drive away.Car hire is available nearby.
Nice airport is 30 minutes drive away, private transfer can be arranged for 60 euros, alternatively the No 250 bus goes to Juan-les-Pins, (get off at stop La Regence) From Nice train station take the coastal train to Juan-les-Pins station which is only 10 minutes walk away from the building. Hello, welcome to my page! I am a single mother of late teenage girls, who has loved the Riviera since I was their age, and am determined to enjoy the way of life, the cuisine, the romance of the warm nights,the sauterelles accompanying music and laughter, the swimming and walking, the markets....for as long as I can! I live in England, travel widely, but always find my way back here....
Why the Owner Chose Juan les Pins
Well...I set out to buy a romantic cottage in the mountains, but was dissuaded by friends, who pointed out I'd take up life as a taxi driver for my kids, and haven't regretted it for a moment! Juan-les-Pins is ideally located for all the coast has to offer, the local transport is excellent, and famous towns such as Nice, Cannes, Monaco are easily accessed from here, both by car and public transport. But if you just want to stay here, everything you need is to hand, shared pool in the grounds, restaurants, shopping, sun, sea and beaches, water sports, casino, nightclubs, walks, and no driving required! The mountains and their little villages are easy reached for day trips, it really is a location to suit all tastes.
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment
The building is in the centre of town, but very quiet because we are at the end of a no-through road, so no passing traffic. That is excellent compared to other buildings where noise at night can be a problem. Public transport is very close, the local bus stops right outside, the local train is 10 minutes walk away, car hire is at the end of the road. Visitors flock to Juan-les-Pins for the nightlife, but I love to rise early for a swim from the many sandy beaches which surround the bay, followed by a leisurely breakfast on the way home from one of the many charming cafes. My days are spent by the pool, or perhaps visiting a local market, and then in the evenings I like to wander along the beachfront enjoying the stalls and shops before dining, sometimes taking a waterfront seat to watch the weekly firework displays over the bay. I retire home just as the more adventurous are arriving for the nightclubs, casino and late shopping.
