my fiance and i had such a great visit to yosemite mostly because of the location and hosts of where we stayed...they were both very accomodating and the cottage was perfectly supplied and size was great...every convience and also only 2-3 miles to bass lake or oakhurst , shopping , dinner, etc..perfect location , price ...totally quiet and self contained..thanks sherri and rolf....Ü we'll be back....Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This condo is so comfortable! My daughter was raving about the soft bed and bedding and the kids loved their room. My son especially loved the toys, books and games left here for them to play with. I booked in Oakhurst at Sherri and Rolf's studio rental in the most part because they were pet friendly. Indeed the first night, my cat wandered away outside and they helped me find her, their youngest son spotting her under their porch. It is 20 minutes to Yosemite's south gate and about 45-hour from the Valley. Plan your days accordingly and using their pass saved me a ton! The studio has a full size kitchen appiances AND washer and dryer which you will appreciate after dusty hiking days! The BEST thing about this rental is the quality they put into it. I am a sucker for good sheets and these are the best! No 200 count sheets here. Just makes me feel luxurious!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Our stay at "the cottage" was absolutely wonderful! Being located only 13 miles from the south gate of Yosemite made it the PERFECT spot - close to the park and away from the summer crowds. The Cottage has everything one could ever need for the perfect stay....very comfortable accomodations in a peaceful setting. The Cottage is the Best of Everything and a stone's throw away from one of the US's prized gems.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.
