Enter the front door to beautiful ceramic tile. A full kitchen is on your right that provides for all of your cooking and relaxing needs. You have a view of the ocean from the kitchen. Ahead is a large ocean side living room with a 'beachy' sleeper sofa and matching love seat and a 27' tv. You have a view of the ocean from your living room. The dining area has seating for four and you have a view of the ocean from your dining table. In the large ocean side bedroom, you'll find a king size bed, a 19' tv, and you'll have a view of the ocean. The Master Bathroom is a modern style with two sinks and an oversized tub/shower. Do Not Rent This Unit!
The adventure started when I walked in the door. Door was rusty on the outside and every time I opened it, the hinge scrapes into the dropped ceiling, dropping flakes of ceiling tile all over you. The bed is like sleeping on a piece of cardboard on top of a piece of plywood...sorry that's the best way I can describe it...very uncomfortable. The pull-out sofa slept better than the bed! The dryer takes 2-2.5 hours to dry a load of clothes. The bathroom smells like one you would use at a nasty "dump" of a gas station. A/C could not keep the unit cool, even though we kept the balcony doors closed and were there in early season before it got too hot. Fridge was not cold at all. The ice was melting in the freezer as well. Kitchen was sparingly equipped, but sufficient enough, I guess. The paint on the walls was awful where they touched up huge sections of the wall with paint that didn't match the original color. The televisions were obviously purchased at yard sale(s). The one in the bedroom was at least 25 years old...it had knobs! Balcony was huge and the only plus of this stay, but it only had a couple cheap plastic adirondack chairs and a small 2 chair and end-table set on it. Its a shame because this condo could be a nice nice unit with a little money put into it for a mattress set, TV's, fresh paint, and getting the dryer and A/C serviced...and of course, replacing the toilet and the smell that goes with it. Wouldn't hurt to modernize the cabinetry, either. All that being said, I can't say enough good things about the folks at Coastal Property Services. Ken and Barbara were friendly, very accomodating, and a pleasure to do business with. I just hate that they are stuck renting out this pitiful unit.

Unit smells of mildew. Sofas are sticky, smell of urine and pull-out mattress falling apart and couldn't be used. Dining chair cushions were badly stained and black mold was growing on them. Kitchen surfaces and handles were sticky and dirty. Shower curtain had a coating of black mold along the bottom. All my belongings when I returned home smelled of mildew for a week. The balcony is very large and view of ocean fantastic.
