This home has a well equipped kitchen, microwave, fridge w/ icemaker, blender, coffeemaker, dishwasher and more. Telephone with long distance and wireless high speed internet. Each room has a flat screen 32' TV. Family room with pool table . Small reading room for a bit of alone time. Large open kitchen with bar to seat 6 and dining table to seat 5. Gas grill and bikes. The garage is being used for storage lawn mower and supplies, and not accessible to the guest. Sleeps 8 Adults with room for children! Located near milepost 8, within walking distance to the beach and many fine restaurants. This home is located near milepost 8, within walking distance to the beach and many fine restaurants. The Outer Banks is a great place to create wonderful family memories. Besides the beach and watersports, sailing, jet skiing and fishing. You can enjoy a hike up Jockey's Ridge the largest sand dune on the east coast. Take a hang-gliding lesson there ! 1400 acres of natural preserve located minutes from the house. A short drive will take you to 4 - wheeling beaches among the wild horses or to the island of Ocracoke.
Visit Manteo to see the Aquarium, Elizabethan Gardens or shop Historic downtown.
Aprox 20 min. north on highway 158 you will find a wonderful antique collectible shop DANNY'S DISCOUNTS. Their phone number is 252-453-0222. This is a must stop for all you treasure hunters. This is where a lot of the treasures you see come from !

About the owner: I grew up in the mountains of West Virginia and Gary in PA. We like to camp and go to the beach. We have three dogs, chickens and a small garden. We also feed several stray cats. Gary works for the power company in NJ and I am an artist.
Why the Owner Chose Kill Devil Hills: We have been visiting the Outer Banks (OBX) for over 15 years, enjoying the friendly people and the ocean. Finally made our dream a reality and want to share this great area with you!
The Unique Benefits at this House: We loved the large living area in the Crow's Nest, how close it is to the beach. We enjoy the canals filled with fish, frogs and turtles. A visit from a white egret now and again is a nice touch. In the spring the peepers will sing you to sleep. Crow's Nest is in walking distance to a lot of places to eat and a wonderful area to jog or ride your bike.
