My friends and I spent a recent weekend at this beautiful house that we found on VRBO. The photos from the VRBO web site were totally accurate and the entire house exceeded our expectations. The entire community was well maintained. Within a 15 minute drive, there was shopping for anything we forgot to pack along with a Regal Movie Theater. A few of us though, never left the house the entire weekend it was so comfortable. The owners were great to work with and answered any possible question that we had. We would recommend the house to any family groups that are looking for a tranquil getaway. We already booked it for next year!

A quiet beautiful place for my brother's bachelor party weekend

Hands down, this house is the best on the lake. My brother is beyond the party-animal years; we wanted a quiet place for his closest friends to get together for the weekend. We drove to Jim Thorpe (worth the drive- a great little town) where we biked down the Lehigh Valley, ate dinner at the Boulder View Tavern and even stopped at the local bar, The Roadhouse for a few drinks. It was great to come back to the house to make pancakes in the morning or relax in the hot tub at night. We really enjoyed our stay!

What an amazing time at an amazing location! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, fun, relaxing big home with breathtaking views. Lots more memories to be had!

This is such a GREAT house! It's right on the lake and the views from both inside and outside of the house are stunning. You can watch the sunset or sunrise from the deck, couch, dining room table, or upstairs balcony. There's plenty of room both inside & outside to accommodate your entire group. Both huge decks are great for relaxing, cooking, eating, games, etc. The interior of the house is beautiful and has a cabin vibe. The tongue & groove wood ceiling in the main living room has to be at least 20 feet high. The fireplace enhances it and adds a relaxed ambience. The first floor room is as good as the main living room. The kitchen setup is part of the open floor plan. It's perfect for group cooking/entertaining. There are plenty of bedrooms and sofa beds if you have a larger group. Most of all, you can tell that the owners actually use the house because it doesn't feel like your typical rental. In addition, it's well-kept and clean. They even provided K-Cups for the Keurig. They have everything you need, even two tanks of propane for the grill. I'm looking forward to returning in the Spring/Summer, so I can get out on the lake in the pontoon boat.

Perfect Get-Away for Everyone!

Our entire family went for a week and it couldn't have been a better vacation. My parents are older and not in good health, my husband and I have 2 young boys and my sister and her fiancee are active. My parents were able to stay on 1 floor of the home, enjoy all the beautiful scenery, the boat, the hot tub, etc. The rest of us were able to hike at Bushkill, kayak, enjoy the clubhouse (pool), fish etc. It was a great balance and allowed us to all vacation together! The home is beautiful and the owners are polite, attentive and accomodating! I would hands down recommend this lakehouse to the young, the old and everyone in between!

We are a family of 10, mostly adults but with a toddler and one 6-year-old. We all just had the best possible time in this wonderful home. Whatever anyone needed, it was right there with so many special amenities, they are almost too numerous to mention. We loved the boat, the fireplace, the kayaks, the wonderful decks, the hot tub, the fishing, the playground. It really was like being in a dream where your every wish comes true. We all agreed we could not remember the last time we felt so relaxed. It was just great - we want to come back again and again. Thank you, Luis, Janine and your kids for sharing your amazing place with us! .

I can only say good things about this house. House was extremely well maintained with quality equipments throughout the house. Despite the storm we had on Saturday, it was one of the greatest vacation rental experience we had. House and yard landscape was very well maintained and lake was just gorgeous with full of fish and great view to the mountain. We took a boat ride for about an hour while rain wasn't pouring and I caught 3 fish by just casting lures at the back of the boat, I just let the lure fly in the water as boat was moving, and all the fish was just biting it like crazy! And size was quite nice, I'm not sure about kind of fish I caught, but they usually in 8~10 inches. In the house, everything was exceptionally clean and had quality equipments and appliances. Two 46+ flat screen with HDMI was a suprise and I hooked up my HD media player to the tv through HDMI to enjoy movies and music. And what good is the vacation without good foods? Kitchen was VERY well equipped and we had so much fun cooking and barbequing. It's rare to see a knife block, rice cooker, all different size of pans and pots in a rental houses. Oh did I mention two stories deck with ample number of chairs, perhaps some more lounge chairs at the dock? Also, don't forget that you also get a little sand area with little fire pot for a chilly weather! I highly recommend this house! Jung

Fantastic Lake House Vacation

Our family had an amazing vacation in this beautiful house. Every need is met from the moment you walk in the door. The house is incredibly clean and well-maintained; inside and out. The views are fantastic and the house is spacious and perfectly decorated; even better than what you see in the photos. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating; I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a wonderful mountain getaway. The kids had an amazing time and said it was the "best vacation ever". We loved the pontoon boat as well; it's a "must have" for sightseeing and exploring. You won't want to leave the community...but if you do, make sure to visit Knoebels Amusement Park, the wonderful town of Jim Thorpe, and the Camel Beach Waterpark.

We had a great time at the lakehouse. The house is spacious and very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The lake is terrific with beautiful views. Great for swimming, fishing whatever you want to do. Can't go wrong with this rental.

The Perfect Place

Heard of this gem by word-of-mouth and found it to be geographically ideal for a meeting place for a guys weekend. Our group of 5 guys have known each other for over 30 years and don't often get together to catch up on life so it was important that we find a spot between Boston and DC for us to all gather. This home seemed just right and the owners are very friendly and highly accommodating. The house was exceptionally clean and neat and had everything we needed. We didn't have to leave the house for anything the entire weekend, though we saw on the way there that amenities are very close! This spot has the most relaxing views of the quiet and clean lake from the entire property - especially on the deck where we spent most of the weekend. The 3 levels of living are a bonus to semi-privacy when it's time to retire for the evening. Overall a perfect 10 in a vacation home. I'm very grateful the owner's offer to share this gem with us. This home really is the perfect place for R&R! I'll definitely return.

We stayed here with our two young boys. We had a great time. The house was great. Plenty of space and amazing fews. Had everything you needed. Very relaxing and tons of beautiful birds to see. We rented the boat and had a great time fishing on the lake. My kids loved playing on the beach and in the hot tub. They even went in the lake even though it was freezing. Conveniently located. Would definitely come back again!!

Spent a glorious weekend on the Lake in this beautiful house. Celebrating my husbands birthday with all 9 of us. Plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub was awesome and the view was spectacular. We did get out on the boat even though it was freezing. We warmed up with the beautiful fireplace. I can imagine just how beautiful it must look in the summer. We never went to the club house, didn't want to leave the house. It was spotless and kept in excellent condition. Had everything you could ever need. I would definitely recommend to my friends, I shared it on Face Book with all 500 of them.

Absolutely Gorgeous Lakefront Home with Beautiful Mountainviews

This had to be one of the best rentals we have found in the Poconos. The pictures of this home do not do it justice, it was so beautifully decorated and had so many little extras that really came in handy. We love the gorgeous lakefront view from soo many of the rooms. I only wish it had been a little bit warmer out to be able to sit outside and just soak in the beauty. The dads enjoyed the complimentary guest passes to the Clubhouse and gameroom while the ladies went and ventured to the Tannersville Outlets. We are really looking forward to returning in the summer months to enjoy the lake, boat and outside activities availabe at this home.

Fantastic Presidents' Day Weekend Getaway

What a wonderful vacation home right on the lake, with a great water view to enjoy throughout the day and evening! With three levels of living, it felt very spacious, but still cozy. We were particularly impressed with how well stocked it was -- we have never rented a home that has had so many of the "little things" that make a stay comfortable. (We particularly enjoyed the coffee selection for the Keurig brewer! We also found some flour that saved a fondue recipe from going astray at the last minute -- many thanks!) The house itself is beautiful, but those "little extras" really made it feel like a very comfortable home for the weekend. There were also so many things to do. We had a great time hiking around the lake with the kids, playing in the pool in the clubhouse, and enjoying the hottub after the kids went to bed! Skiing at Jack Frost was surprisingly accessible (closer than estimated) and everyone in our group had a fantastic time. We can't even imagine how fun it would be in the summer months -- especially with the use of your boat! We hope to be back! Thank you again for a fabulous weekend!

Great getaway with all the comforts of home

We took my son and a few of his friends away for his 16th birthday. Everyone, including my husband and I, had a great time. The minute we walked in the door the boys grabbed us for a group hug. Please note, we were still only on the first floor and there were two more floors to go. The boys loved the house. The house was very clean, up to date and well maintained. You can tell a great deal of thought went into making sure all necessary items were available and easily accessible. On Saturday after a long day of paintball, the boys came back and they all fell a sleep watching tv in front of the fireplace. They stated it felt like "home". They asked if we had to leave as they wanted to stay a week. We promised them we would come back. The boys have know each other since 1st grade. I know this will be something that they will remember forever. You have a beautiful house and a great location. We look forward to returning during the summer. The deck is amazing and I can't wait to catch up on my reading while looking out on the lake. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us.

What a beautiful home! Of all the rentals we have been to over the years, this one has to be one of the best! The house is very spacious and has a nice open floor plan. Everything is up to date and everything you need is in the house! From the fully equipped kitchen to the large HDTV in the main room. Our kids (as well as the adults) enjoyed the hot tub. The deck is HUGE and has great views of the lake and surrounding mountains. It is so peaceful and quiet (much different than other crowded and noisey Pocono lakes we have been to). We had planned on doing lots of activities nearby, but found ourselves just taking in the views and relaxing at the lakehouse. The clubhouse was lots of fun for the kids. The kids went swimming in the indoor pool and then we played a few games of outdoor shuffleboard right next to the lake beach.(we had a nice fall like afternoon in January). The only thing was, there was not any snow (no snow anywhere in the Northeast this winter so far!). We are planning on booking a week in the summer. We can only imaging how fun it would be especially as this home offers a pontoon boat for rent at their private dock. You can't go wrong with this house!

A lovely Christmas with family at a lovely lake house - a beautiful place with natural beauty. No snow but plenty to do - swam in indoor pool at the clubhouse. Grandchildren enjoyed the hot tub. Looking forward to reading a good book with a gin and tonic on the deck by the lake in the Summer.
