  We had a wonderful weekend stay at Sea Drift! The owners have taken much care of this gem, and it shows! I slept so soundly on the comfortable queen size bed- better than I sleep in my own bed at home. The condo has a binder full of personally-verified restaurant/activity recommendations, so we could find lots of locally-run businesses that were "home runs". Best of all, the proximity to everything was the best. We kept our car parked the whole time as we walked to everything- the beach, the restaurants, the grocery, etc. The vibe from condo to Carolina Beach is friendly, warm and inviting. We will definitely choose to stay here for our next beach vacation!

  This condo is absolutely perfect! We were there are one of three adult couples, no kids, and everything was just right. There was enough space for us not to be tripping over each other, beautifully appointed rooms, a view of the ocean from the deck... it was ... ahhhhhhhh. As the last to arrive we ended up on the futon in the 3rd bedroom, but the owners provide a mattress pad for it and we didn't even realize we were sleeping on a futon - it was very comfortable! The kitchen is well stocked, and the whole place felt more like a home than a hotel. Top it off with walking distance to great food, bars, beach and boardwalk, and you've got a perfect vacation. We will definitely be back!

  This condo is a great place to stay for your beach vacation. The owners were very easy to work with, and quick to answer any questions we had before and during our stay. The process of renting from them is a breeze, and they are very helpful, hospitable, and kind. The condo is in a nice location, just a short walk to the beach. It's the 2nd row of houses from the beach, so you can see the beach from the porch. There are parking spaces for 3 cars, which is nice, 2 are under the building and one in a side lot. You can walk to the beach or to the park from this condo. It's a nice, central location. Ft. Fisher and the NC Aquarium is close by, as is Carolina Beach State Park. The condo was very clean, and is actually quite spacious. Even if it was sleeping 8, it would still feel comfortable in there. The kitchen is fully stocked, so it's easy to find what you need to prepare meals. We also enjoyed using the board games that were already in the condo! We highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for an easy, breezy vacation!

  We had a wonderful stay! The condo was perfectly located to everything we wanted. The beach was only a block away, the boardwalk and amusement rides were down the street. We enjoyed the aquarium and the three ice cream shops the most. We had never rented before and had lots of guestions - Pat and Rick were amazingly helpful, quick to respond and friendly. Thanks for an awesome family vacation!

  We had a terrific stay at this condo and would stay again. The bedrooms were large and there was plenty of room for everyone. It is located in the perfect spot! We were able to walk to the beach, the lake, the rides, shopping and restaurants. It was great not having to get in the car and drive everywhere! The owners were wonderful to work with!

  We just wanted to thank you again for sharing your condo with us. It was delightful and so close to the ocean. The weather even cooperated and we could not have been more thrilled. Even though our winter has not been that bad, we love the smell and sights of Spring. We all need to see and appreciate the ocean at least once a year. For us Midwesterners, it is really important.

  We loved everything about our stay at this condo! Pat and Rick are the friendliest, easiest people to work with. The condo itself is beautiful and the location is fantastic. The color scheme is "beachy" and soothing. The house is spotless. The kitchen is well-stocked and easy to use. We loved the open floor plan. If you have to cook at the beach, you at least want to be able to spend time with your family while doing it! We popped some tunes into the CD player they provided, and I set the table as my husband cooked delicious meals. There were books, games, and puzzles provided. We liked that the tv also had a DVD player. There are only two of us, but there seemed to be plenty of room for larger families. The master bedroom was nice and big and airy. I didn't have time to climb into the soaking tub during our stay, but I was definitely tempted by it! I've been asking my husband if we can't fit something similar into our bathroom at home! My husband loved sitting out on the balcony in the morning, watching the ocean, and listening to the surf as he greeted the day with his coffee in hand. Access to the beach was incredibly easy, and the beach itself is beautiful and family-friendly. We took our bikes with us, and we enjoyed riding around everywhere. We love the bike lanes throughout the town! Bikes are not necessary though, as everything is within walking distance. We enjoyed looking through the scrapbook provided with menus, brochures, and recommendations for outings and restaurants. We found it incredibly helpful! We felt ambitious one day and biked to the ferry and over to Southport. We enjoyed biking and walking through that beautiful town. We love the option for linen rentals. It's just so much trouble to remember to pack sheets and towels when that isn't an option! We will definitely be returning! Highly recommended!

  My family and I have been to the beaches of North Carolina several times, but this was the best rental we've ever stayed in! Beautifully and comfortably decorated with an ocean view and a very affordable price, this was the perfect package to make our beach vacation the best one yet! We appreciated Pat and Rick's carefully selected list of preferred restaurants and outings in the area, as well as an assortment of puzzles and games for relaxing at night. We highly recommend a stay here!

  Once again we had a great vacation at Sea Drift and Carolina Beach. I love the new decor. The colors are so warm and beach oriented. Pat and Rick made everything so easy and as always the condo was very clean and well maintained. We walked every evening around Carolina Lake, got ice cream at Squiggleys(a tradition), and shopped at night. So many stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance from the condo, including the boardwalk. We had blue skies and pretty days all week. We went fishing, saw dolphins and even a sea turtle. Wow what an awesome experience! We also discovered a new seafood place called Michael's that have a great seafood chowder. I highly recommend Sea Drift for families and anyone who wants to get away to relax. It always feels like going home when we visit CB and especially Sea Drift. So thank you Pat and Rick for sharing your beautiful condo. Barnardsville, NC

  This was our first time at CB and we will definitely make this a regular destination! Pat and Rick were very accomodating to us and offered some great information on the local amenities. Their beach home is ample, comfy and clean and only a few steps away from the beach! It offers privacy and convenience. We had a great time with the entire family. We enjoyed grilling on the balcony, watching the Champions League on cable and playing board games until the wee hours of the night. It was delightful!

  This was our second visit to Carolina Beach, but our first time staying at this location. We found this beach home to be spacious and clean. Pat and Rick's home is very comfortable and perfectly located for privacy, yet has all you need at your fingertips. The kids really enjoyed all of the games and cards available to play, which often gave my husband and I some nice downtime while they entertained themselves each evening. There is no doubt that we will plan to stay here again for any future Carolina Beach trips. Pat and Rick were always accessible and made the entire process extremely easy. Tina Culpeper, VA

  My family (extended) stayed at Rick and Pat's condo this 1st week of August. While the pictures on the website were inviting on their own, the condo by itself lent a very warm and welcome feeling when we walked in there. The bedrooms were spacious, well decorated and the rest of the apartment was just perfectly appointed with the right amenities for an awesome vacation. The beach was literally donw the stairs, cross a street and walk into it. We would like to this again. Rick and Pat, Thanks a lot. We enjoyed tremendously and you have a wonderful condo in Carolina Beach. -- Chip

  Thank you for letting us stay in your condo! It was very cute and comfortable for our family vacation! We had a blast!! We loved getting to relax by the beach and just enjoy the beautiful weather and water!! North Carolina is gorgeous -- it's the first time we've ever been out this way. We also really enjoyed the ferry ride over to Southport and going to see the lighthouses. Havana's was delicious. We really enjoyed the views from the boardwalk as well. Thanks again for a great place to stay!

  Thank you, thank you, thank you for allowing us the peace and serenity of abiding at your lovely condo. It truly allowed us as a family to reconnect and recharge. The weather was lovely, the water was warm (compared to the coast of Maine) and the fireworks fantastic. Food (fish) was fabulous and fruit as fresh as we have ever had. Thank you again.   Thank you for sharing your condo with us! The paint colors are great and the new decor is just what you want in a beach house. We even added a shell to the collection on the ledge. The weather was awesome and I was able to fly my brand new kite. We had a great time relaxing, fishing, and eating out. Thank you so much for the mini-vacation!

  This is one of my favorite places to get away! The condo is very comfortable and you have an ocean view from the patio. My husband and I always have a great time staying here!

  A few of my buddies and I spent 4 nights here and had a great time. The location is convenient to the Carolina Beach boardwalk (really just Britt's Donuts), grocery/ABC stores, and most importantly the beach. The condo was very comfortable and welcoming and the owners were professional. We had a lot of fun hanging out on the balcony at night, and it provided beautiful ocean views during the day. Would definitely rent this particular condo out again and recommend to other friends.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  I would highly reccommend this condo for a great vacation get away. It is conveniently located to the stores in Carolina Beach, and has easy acccess to the beach. It is just minutes away from the Boardwalk and the famous Brits dounuts. You can take a walk to the Carolin Beach Lake, watch a beautiful sunset and then top the evening off with ice cream from Squigley's, which is just one block west of the condo. The NC Aquarium located at Fort Fisher is only about a five mile drive. Also visit the historic town of Southport, via a twenty minute ferry ride. Spend the day shopping and walking around this beautiful seaport. While you are there check out Oak Island Lighthouse and Old Baldy Lighthouse. Another advantage to staying in Sea Drift is that it's within walking distance of the marina for the fishermen in the family. The condo is very well maintained, clean, and the owners provide excellent service. My latest stay was in October of 2010. I am planning on going again this year and I just can't say enough about Sea Drift and the great vacations I have had there. Check it out and see for yourself.

  I would HIGHLY recommend staying at this beautiful condo! It was very clean, spacious, and the beds were super comfortable. You can easily walk to downtown and shop and get ice cream. The beach is also a short walk away. We enjoyed walking around Lake Park every evening which is only a 5 minute walk from the condo. I would also recommend you walk down the boardwalk and enjoy Britts delicious doughnuts! Please visit the Fort Fisher Museum and Aquarium which is only about 5 miles away, then catch a 25 minute ferry and spend the day shopping and sightseeing in the beautiful, historic town of Southport where there are lots of places to buy souvenirs. It is very easy to park and walk around town. Be sure and get a map from the Visitors Center and do a self-guided tour of the town. After a busy morning we ate lunch at The Pharmacy. It is a beautiful old pharmacy which has been turned into a restaurant. We really enjoyed the food as well as the old decor. I would rate my overall experience as "Excellent," and will definitely be back!
