What a great place to stay while visiting Jackson Hole and the surrounding area. Conveniently located. Beautiful neighborhood. Just as represented on the website. The photos on the website don't catch the beauty of this property, of this area. Beautiful mountain views in every direction. Clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The owners are close by, they are very nice, accommodating and helpful. We wanted to stay right there, in that house, in that neighborhood, forever!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I had a wonderful time! Beautiful setting, loved the home, perfect area. It was the best VRBO property yet! The website is accurate but the pictures do not do it justice. Everything you need is provided, the location is perfect for seeing all of the attractions in the area. The owners are very helpful and responsive, great hosts! We plan on returning.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Hi, me (Thomas, 46) and my kids (22/16) stayed 1 week at this very nice and clean house which serves any comfort which is needed - we missed nothing. - great surrounding .. the house is placed wonderful and is a very good starting point for excursions (visiting the two national parks - Teton and Yellowstone National park) or going hiking in Jackson whole area ... during summer time the large lakes will support also water activities ... Jackson themselves is a very nice country village ... shopping possibilities are enough available .. - also supermarkets are available to buy the needed food (the grill was daily "on") ... Also the restaurants in Jackson are very beautiful ... My kids and me enjoyed this stay absolutely ... We will come back and stay exact in this house to explore the region more (we don't saw a bear and this will be only one intention) .. The Owners are very friendly and they will support you on any topics .. You will be thrilled when you stay there .... BTW: sorry if my English is not the best, but I'm not a native speaker .... (I think you found out during reading, that we had great vacation) Rgs. ThomasRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family and I vacationed her in July 2012. While we thoroughly enjoyed Jackson Hole, this property was not what we expected. The owners (not caretakers as they have just updated their website to suggest) stayed above the garage which was less than 20 feet from the house. Not very private! There was a great treehouse and a pond in the back but we were not allowed to use them. They were for viewing only. The house had one shower and the hot water heater did not work for one full day (against WY Rental laws) until we were able to fix it. We had two different sets of rental agreements and restrictions with some conflicting items. When we asked about them, we were told one thing by the husband and another by the wife. Very confusing. We did not receive our security deposit back which was a first in the 30 + years we've been taking family vacations. We were not provided a check-in list and did not receive any pictures or receipts for any item we were told was damaged. We made every effort to leave the property in as good a condition as when we arrived and still don't know why our deposit was not returned. While we didn't let any of this ruin our vacation, we would certainly never rent here again. There are plenty of other nice places in Jackson Hole that I believe would be more welcoming, private and more comfortable. Please also be sure to check this website often - they update and change information frequently.Owner response: Written messages from tenant writing review: July 21, 2012 'OK. Thanks so much and apologize for any misunderstanding. We will most definitely comply. You all have a beautiful home and most definitely want to help you keep it that way.' They did not comply with the rental agreement nor their written message pertaining to the rental agreement which led to the loss of their deposit. Departing message July 28, 2012 'Thanks again! We are out now. Great family time for sure.' They did not honor their rental agreement, they lost their deposit and were notified in writing on August 3. The statement made in their review 'still don't know why our deposit wasn't returned' is incorrect. Smoking occurred and cigarette butts were carelessly discarded. They responded on August 4 and their review was written on August 12. The rental agreement once signed does not change unless it's done in writing. No written changes to the rental agreement, no he said she said as the tenant writes. Rental agreement, as the website, are clear this is a non smoking property, if smoking occurred the deposit would be forfeited. Their statement that they fixed the hot water heater and how long it was out is not correct. The wait time was due to their not being up front as to what they did that caused the loss of hot water not our negligence. Once their son disclosed what really happened, the problem was solved by the plumber and the hot water heater was back on. The house has an antique claw foot bathtub upstairs and a shower downstairs as noted on the VRBO website not just one shower as they stated. Wildlife has the right of way as stated on the website and rental agreement. The pond is for wildlife only, wildlife is part of this property's charm. Sit on the decks and watch the wildlife that visit. Owls that frequent the pond would leave if people disturb their area. Birds nested in the treehouse so it's off limits for now and is stated in the rental agreement. This is wild and wonderful Wyoming where wildlife is fluent in private neighborhoods that respect wildlife's right of way as in this neighborhood. Tenants were asked to respect the property, honor the rental agreement, not smoke, and respect the wildlife areas. They knew we would be right next door 'Looking forward to meeting you and enjoying the area!' I agree, not the property for these tenants. They need a property that allows smoking. Their review does not represent written messages they wrote during their stay or upon departure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent in this home. It was as it was described and very comfortable. My family had fun with the indoor and outdoor games that were provided. The yard and neighborhood were delightful. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives, and will stay in again if I'm lucky enough to be in Jackson Hole.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay. This home had everything we needed. The views were great and we enjoyed being 5 minutes south of Jackson Hole. It was convenient to all of our destinations but away from the congestion. Loved the fresh cut flowers in the kitchen when we arrived! The owners live close and are lovely to deal with.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here for a few days in early July and it was "Great" we will be back again... This home has a lot of amentities. It is very clean, comfortable and the shear beauty and serenity is spectaculer. The location is very close to the town of Jackson and Grand Teton National Park. The owners are great and very helpful I would highly recommend this home for a nice family vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
