FREE USE OF OUR GOLF-CART, CRAIGCAT, BIKES, KAYAKS and PADDLE BOAT as well as Resort Amenities such as Tennis, Swimming, Sauna, etc.
Our lake house is part of the Silver Lakes Resort Community in Helendale, California. Helendale is in the Mojave Desert, 100 miles (160 km) northeast of Los Angeles and 180 miles (290 km) southwest of Las Vegas. It is also near Big Bear, UC Riverside and Tanger Outlets.

I rented this property for a weekend and my friends and I had a wonderful time. This place was everything we hoped it would be, I can't wait to rent it again next year!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely and cozy lake house for a few weeks last March. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back to this lake house.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+.

Generally speaking the property was very nice but weather is not good in Helendale in Feb. Very cold.Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, people with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I spent Dec 11 & Jan 12 at Helendale House and enjoyed it very much. The house is spacious, clean and very well appointed, including much recreational equipment. Being alone and a senior, not a golfer and also winter, I did not use all of the things available to me. However, I think Silver Lakes would be a golfer's paradise. Golf cart, pontoon and paddle boats, BBQ, computer, satellite TV - it's all there. Having sun all but 2 days was a real treat. Also, Cindy left a great deal of information from how to work things in the house to emergency services and shopping. On the few occasions when I needed some help ( the power went once in a wind storm) Cindy and Han were prompt in their assistance. The multi-Asian restaurant was excellent and the Landing quite good. Would have liked a coffee house in the "downtown" area.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway.

About the owner: My husband and I bought the property for our family to enjoy on weekends and holidays. Our goal was to make our lakefront home cozy and fun, so we spent endless hours making it that and more. We love our lakefront house, and hope you will too.

My husband and I discovered Helendale on a trip to Victorville and fell in love with this lovely and friendly resort community. We like the idea of playing golf or tennis, swimming, kayaking, hiking or fishing during the day and relaxing in the evening as we watch the sunset from the patio.
