The TradeWinds is usually my winter home and I offer my home to visitors in the summer months. This is the first time I am offering my lovely condo to the perfect snowbirds. The location is perfect. Close to all Destin has to offer, yet away from the congestions you may find at larger properties.
As I usually spend most of the year living here, the condo has all the creature comforts you would expect in a true beachside home. And for the Snowbird calling my piece of paradise 'home' for an extended period, access to my 'fun in the sun' owners beach closet. Coolers, beach chairs, umbrella, toys, snorkel equipment, beach bike, gas weber grill on rolling cart and more are at your disposal.

Tradewinds is a family friendly property and located directly on a bike path which makes walking/biking easy. Shopping and numerous oceanside restaurants are within walking distance. Lots of activities await you within 5-10 miles; parasailing, scuba diving, fishing, cruises, aquariums, water parks, state parks, antiques, cooking schools, etc. A great beach view awaits you, and only a few steps will take you to the pool or beach. A fully equipped kitchen, bar, dining table and outdoor deck with table and chairs make it easy to cook at home and stay in. Or, if you want to go out, the condo is located directly across the street from Miramar Beach and Pompano Joes, and other great dining spots are close by. My experience in Destin was great. I'd reccomend this place to any couples. Georgina was so easy to work with, and she even was able to take us snorkeling! Right across from Pompano Joe's which was the place to be.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

While staying at Tradewinds, I love being just a few minutes drive from the outlet mall and just 8 miles from the Destin Harbor where our fishing and snorkeling boats dock. I rarely get in my car! A beautifully mantained walking/bike path runs the length of Scenic Gulf Dr. I can walk and bike to pick up a few items from from the store or to Champagne Sunday Brunch! Bike and scooter rentals are within walking distance.
