A beautiful, charmingly and comfortably rustic log home on a huge private lot, with the sounds of the creek floating in your bedroom window. The house was stocked with every kitchen accoutrement you might want to cook with, was spacious and comfortable, with a large, amazing, roaring wood stove, and a tub big enough for two (although we're fairly little ourselves). A perfect place to come for romance, or to get the kids away from the internet, or to play outside and explore the surrounding wilderness. Just 10 minutes to the wonderful town of Kaslo for groceries, wine, baked goods, or whatever else you forgot, but it feels like your nestled deep in the remote wilderness. Loaded with books, magazines, and games. We'll be back! Don't forget to try your gracious host's amazing homemade soaps!

This rustic cottage is located between New Denver and Kaslo, BC just off Rte 31A. The cottage is located on Keen Creek which provided the music to sleep by at night. The cottage was well maintained, clean and insect and rodent free. The property the cottage in located on invites one to take hikes or long walks. Deer were seen daily feeding in the meadow behind the cottage and eagles could be seen flying in the sky. Bring your binocular for viewing the abundant wild life in the area. My family and I have stayed alot of different vacation homes/cottages but this vacation rental was excellent in every aspect. Make sure you plan a day of site seeing and touring for Kaslo and New Denver, you will not be disappointed. Be sure to ask Jim and Donna about the local history of the area as this information will provide additional sites for you to visit. I would recommend the rental to family and friends.

We found an incredible place in which to feel home, between two rivers, in the middle of heaven! We hope to come back very soon to Kaslo, and to use the incredible home made soaps we found in it again!

What a beautiful place to spend a family Christmas! Warm and cozy with electric heat and a wood stove with plenty of firewood. Big kitchen, fully equipped for Christmas dinners. Roomy enough for our 6 adults, 3 small children and dogs. Clean and comfy sleeping quarters. Neatly decorated with lovely plants and lots of books and puzzles, X-country skiing trails and Ainsworth hot springs close by. Wonderful views from every window. A very private place in the woods close to rolling rivers. The driveway was ploughed to the cabin with lots of room for parking our 3 vehicles. Donna was terrific.

Arrive to a roomy, rustic comfortable home-away-from-home. A hot shower with Donna's handmade soap is a sure way to relax into your holiday. After you have settled into your own space, an outside fire makes for an easy wiener roast dinner and time for stories and reminiscing. The fire is out and you head towards the warm glow of your cabin, stopping only to gaze up to the billions of stars. Waking from you deepest sleep, you will hear the sound of the very creek that lulled you to sleep. The coffee has brewed on the timer, you grab a cup and exit to the sun-drenched deck. This is when you know you have discovered something very special. These are the experiences I look forward to with my family every year. You can't be disappointed at 'Between Two Rivers"

Between Two Rivers was a little haven away from the world, but only a few minutes drive to Kaslo. It was a good value option for us with three adults - it would suit a family, group or couple. Everything was clean and comfortable, with well-equipped cooking facilities (if you aren't eating at the great cafes/restaurants in Kaslo). Rain kept us inside more than we planned during our stay, but there was lots of reading matter on hand, and a wood stove to keep us cosy and warm. Thanks very much - we look forward to our next stay!

We recently rented this cabin in July 2011 and it was a great stay. All the things you would need for a cabin stay were provided. The location was quiet, other than the creek running by, and we saw wildlife right in the front yard. Our dog enjoyed his freedom as there was no other cabins very cose to us, and the hiking and biking trails nearby were great. It was short drives to many things to see nearby from fishing to hot springs to shopping the unique stores in Kaslo. The big front deck was just perfect for morning coffee and we ate BBQ dinner out there every evening. Bugs were hardly a bother at all, and we had a campfire a few evenings as well. We will be back!

We stayed at this cabin over the July 1st long weekend. Secluded but still close to town. The kitchen was well equipped and the rest of the cabin was very comfortable. The deck was large, with lots of seating options. Sure, the river was loud but you really feel close to nature. Even had a deer wonder thorugh the property one morning. Thanks Donna for everything. I'm sure we'll be back. Kathy, Pat & Suzi
