The House is in a quiet private estate in the leafy village of Claygate, which is only 30 minutes from central London by direct train. Claygate is a lovely village with shops, pubs and restaurants. It is very close to Esher in Surrey where there are more shops, boutiques, pubs and many restaurants. The town of Cobham is also nearby.
The House is immaculate in its presentation, with plenty of living space downstairs and four bedrooms and three bathrooms upstairs.
Entering the house you arrive in the hall area, with its wooden floors that run throughout the downstairs.
The Hall area leads to:
A large spacious well equipped kitchen and dining area, very suitable for entertaining, with a table to seat 10. The kitchen has all the general amenities you need; a large range oven, a refridgerator/freezer with its own built in wine fridge, a dishwasher and a wall mounted TV. Two very comfortable sofas with a coffee table that lead onto to the patio and mature gardens.
Off the kitchen is a small utility room, with an oversized washing machine and dryer. There is a small downstairs toilet.
A TV room, with a large L shaped sofa and coffee table. A large wall mounted flatscreen TV, DVD and Playstation to use.
The house has WIFI internet access.
A smart lounge area with two sofas,stone fireplace, chaise lounge and French windows opening onto the garden and terrace.
From the lounge there is a small study room with many books, CDs and DVDs to use.
Off the study room is a staircase leading to quaint bedroom, with a small french antique double bed, bedside tables, lamps and a stand alone wardrobe. It has its own private shower, toilet and washbasin.
From the Hall up the stairs to the landing, you have three further bedrooms and a seperate bathroom.

The main bedroom is double aspect, with a large wrought iron double bed, bedside tables and lamps. There are built in wardrobes, a large antique chest of drawers, and two eves cupboards. Off the bedroom there is a ensuite wet room, with large walk in marble shower, toilet and washbasin with a mirror above and a bathroom cabinet.
Another attractive bedroom, overlooking the front gardens, with a french antique double bed, built in wardrobes and chest of drawers.
A small single bedroom
There is a separate bathroom off the landing with bath, toilet washbasin and cupboard.
At the rear of the house is a patio terrace overlooking secluded mature gardens. There is a garden table on the main terrace that seats 10. On the smaller terrace is a table to seat 6.
Aside from being in easy reach of central London, the property's location gives clear access to many other areas, with excellent road and rail connections. Hampton Court Palace, situated on the River Thames, is only a 10 minute drive away. If you like Tennis, Wimbledon is only 20 minutes by car. Windsor Castle is just 40 minutes. Oxford is an 1 1/2 hours.
A day trip to Paris by Eurostar from Kings Cross is always an option, or Brighton on the south coast is another.
On your doorstep, in Esher, is Sandown Racecourse, with regular meetings throughout the year. Kew Gardens and Wisley RHS are nearby.
There are many more places to visit in Surrey and the bordering counties.
We are also close to Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

We stayed at the house for 7 weeks and loved the lay out, the garden and the surrounding area. The house is a beautiful mix of old English architecture and state of the art bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms and sitting rooms. Bright, comfortable and everything you need and even more. The owners are very nice people and helped with every single thing during our stay.Recommended for: Families with young children.
