**2007 EXECUTIVE HOME AND/OR PVT GUEST COTTAGE. PANORAMIC DISTANT VIEWS, VERY PEACEFUL AND QUIET**FABULOUS LOCATION!
Both homes are exquisite and quite aritistic. You may book the Cottage alone, which sleeps up to 5, or the Main House, which sleeps 10 by itself or both together for your larger groups.
Are you coming to San Diego looking for a private getaway or family reunion? This 1 story home was designed with entertainment in mind and is perfect in every way. Built in 2007, apx 5,035 sq ft Main House and apx 900 sq ft Guest Cottage.
We are now putting together a game area in the 6 car garage- WOW. 60' BIG Screen TV with Wii games & DVD player, Ping Pong Table.... great for family fun. Really comfy couches to sit or nap on. A perfect place for fun and laughter! This home has something for everyone and with all the extras is now in a class by itself. Stay tuned for more fun areas to be added. Full Gourmet Kitchens with Granite counter tops and top of the line Stainless appliances. The main house boasts 2 Bosch Dishwashers, 2 sinks, Ice Maker, Trash compactor, warming drawer, convection microwave, 6 burner gas cooktop with griddle, Sub Zero refrigerator and matching Sub Zero freezer and of course central vac.
This Executive Cottage is fully furnished with 2 queen beds and a day bed. Very light and bright, a happy place to call home. Fabulous distant views to the East provide warm morning sun on your private patio.
The Main house is fully furnished with 4 bedrooms, 2 King beds and 3 queen beds. Masters have King beds and 2 queen beds are in one bedroom and 1 queen bed in the other. All have their own private bathrooms along with a guest bath.
This property has it all and is conveniently located 5 min off the 15 Freeway near the North County Mall in South Escondido, just north of Rancho Bernardo near Lake Hodges.
30 minutes from the San Diego Airport, 10 min to the Wild Animal Safari Park, 30 minutes to Lego Land, 30 minutes to all beaches & Sea World, 25 minutes to the Del Mar Race track, 30 minutes to Coronado Island, 45 minutes to Orange County/Irvine and 5 minutes to most grocery stores. 5 minutes to Kit Carson park for Tennis, skating, bicycling, walking, feeding the ducks, walking your dog, softball, etc.
The home sits on a ridge top at the end of a private culdesac. A perfect location and convenient to everything! All one level without any steps. Very easy living. Lots of parking space.
You may book the large home or the private cottage or both. The large home is amazing, very artistic and a treat to see. All top of the line amenities ready to make your stay perfect.
The Guest Cottage has it's own private garage, entrance, patio and laundry area. Truly a fine place to hang your hat. Enjoy the morning sun in on your own patio with table and chairs to enjoy outdoor dining.

Our stay was wonderful. The cottage was neat and clean with a great view. Sun rise was spectacular! Close to lots of things to do, including a mall (5 min.), the largest and most up scale we have ever seen! Plan on returning next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I were planning on a San Diego vacation for some time, and knew we didn’t want to reside in a hotel . We have used VRBO on three other occasions, and were never disappointed. My wife did a great job setting up the itinerary (lots of theme parks), and selecting this home for our vacation. The choice of this property was one of the highlights of our trip. Initially, we were concerned that our family, including our three children (ages 14, 12, 5) would be too crowded in the guest house. Sharon was very attentive to our questions, and confirmed that the guest house would accommodate our needs, and did it ever. The three kids stayed in the bedroom, the adults slept in the queen bed located in the living room. We chose Escondido for its proximity to the San Diego area (within 20 miles SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo) and Disneyland (70 miles) away. The house was located in a beautiful residential area, overlooking a picturesque canyon. Waking up to the cool morning air, enjoying coffee on the patio was a wonderful way to start the day. After a long day of taking in the sights, the kids could not wait to enjoy the beautiful in-ground pool to cool off. The property was well appointed, with everything necessary for a relaxing stay. The home had central air, ceiling fans, linens, two televisions, internet access, and a fully applianced kitchen. Sharon also made available coolers, lunch bags and other items if you choose to pack lunch for the day. We were very impressed during our time there, the kids have already asked if we could return some day. 15 of our family members met from across the country in this lovely, spacious home. It was a perfect location for us to visit together, cook together (in the large gourmet kitchen and the outside barbeque area) , and just share a peaceful space (including the quiet back patio with pool, spa, gorgeous views, and hummingbirds). We rented both the main and guest house and there was plenty of space for all to stay comfortably, It was very peaceful, but at the same time easily accessable to beaches, hiking, the Wildlife Park, Zoo and other activities to keep us happily occupied. The house exceeded the expectations we had from the description and photos. Sharon was helpful from the time of our initial inquiry and booking throughout our stay. Not only would we recommend this property to others, we hope we will have the opportunity to return ourselves.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here with our four children, their spouses, and six grandchildren. Everyone had a great time. The house was beautiful and welcoming. The pictures are good, but can't really do it justice. Loved working together in the gorgeous kitchen. Plenty of room for everyone! All the bedrooms were beautiful and had an attached bathroom--which made it so easy for each little family. We visited the Safari Park, which is just a few minutes away, and Sea World, but had great times just being able to put all the kids down and hang out in the pool and spa. (By the way, the spa is nice and big and easily accommodated us all.) Sharon was so great to work with and so accommodating. (Yes, there is a pack n play there!) When we had a question during our stay about wi fi, she got back to us in a very timely manner. Really, can't say enough about what a great place this was to bring our family. It was spacious enough for all of us. It was beautifully appointed without losing hominess. Would go back in a heartbeat. Would be wonderful for a business retreat as well. We chose Escondido because of a family wedding, but think I'll have to find another excuse to have another vacation there. (Not hard. Legoland? Sea World? San Diego Zoo? Sharon's backyard?)Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Sharon & Randy have a great place here. The setup is very private, and very relaxing. They made us feel so welcome. During our stay, the weather was rather cool, so we never got to use the beautiful pool. Staying here, you are just minutes from the mall, the freeway, or from anything you might need in town. But step out onto the back patio, and you feel like you are a million miles away from it all. The kitchen, the beds, the showers, were all very comfortable and inviting. It was our home away from home the entire duration of our stay. I am homesick for it just writing this. The only downside about leaving this review is it might make it harder for us to rebook again in the future. We will definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
