  What a fabulous view of the sea, town and surrounding countryside. Would recommend this villa and the town of Selema to anybody who would like to see the way the Algarve used to be, we have already booked up for next year.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

  We spent a wonderful 2 weeks at Casa Katyia with our 2 year old and 6 month old. The villa is really well equipped and spacious with lots of 'running around' room for an energetic toddler. The views are amazing and we loved the resort of Salema which was perfect for a young family - lovely sandy beach and a few little restaurants to try out. We will definitely be booking another stay! Thanks.

  I spent four wonderful days at Casa Katyia. It's a beautiful villa, in an idyllic location, with stunning sea views.The villa itself has three, large comfortable bedrooms, two well appointed bathrooms, large tasteful dining room and living area and a well equipped kitchen. There is a well maintained pool area, complete with sun loungers, with beautfiul views. The balcony off the living room, has a BBQ area and out door furniture, perfect for al fresco dining. The villa is a short walk from the village of Salema, where you will find a good choice of restaurants and bars and also the very pretty beach. Casa Katyia is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday with friends & family and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone!

  I was on a girl’s holiday at Casa Katyia and it was certainly as described! A luxurious villa with unrivalled views. I couldn't get over the view from both the poolside and the upper balcony. It really is a magic setting overlooking the ocean. The villa is kitted out with everything you need to enjoy your stay - there is a huge amount of crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. So no need to stress about the washing up...the dishwasher will look after that for you! The pool is clean and well maintained - we used the cover on it most nights which maintained the temperature for the next day. It is decent size for a good dip. We found the villa in pristine condition. I absolutely loved my stay in Casa Katyia - we felt so safe there and Salema is a gem of a village. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

  An absolutely fantastic week spent in Salema in Casa Katya - a beautiful villa - quiet and peaceful, yet a short walk from several excellent restaurants. We found the villa in immaculate condition, with all mod cons available. The pool was clean and the garden well maintained. The views were unbeatable, and the large balcony and barbeque provided the perfect situation for peaceful evenings. I plan to return next year and would highly recommend the villa to those looking for a relaxing holiday in very high standard accommodation.

  This is a great place to stay. My husband, son and I recently spent 5 days at Kasa Katyia. Salema is a beautiful little fishing village (best place on the Algarve, in my opinion). The house is in a great spot with beautiful views from top terrace and pool terrace. Very relaxing. I will be recommending this house to any friends that visit the Algarve. The owner provides very handy written instructions and the property manager in Salema was very helpful.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

  This is a great, family friendly villa where the terrace and pool look down on Salema beach. There is plenty to do and see in the area but actually we walked to the beach (less than 10 mins) and then back for a siesta, late lunch and dip in our pool pretty much every day. The Blue Flag beach has a life guard, medical point etc and very friendly staff, who will reserve you an umbrella and sunbed on the coveted "front row", if you ask them nicely! A really laid back and relaxing holiday.

  What a lovely place! Salema was quiet, friendly and beautiful with a fantastic beach. The villa was well maintained with lovely garden and pool! We didnt ever want to leave! Highly recommended to everyone!

  We had an excellent time here. Superb views from the terraces, nice rooms. Salema is one of the less developed Algarve towns and an attractive place to stay. Restaurant Atlantico particularly recommended. We found lots to do nearby, notably clifftop walk to Burgau, drive to Sagres, Lagos zoo, reservoir walk

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.

  Schönes Haus, tolle Lage, phantastischer Ausblick. Gepflegt, ruhig und familientauglich. Ein brauchbarer Sonnenschutz auf der oberen Veranda (Sonne pur den ganzen Tag) wäre schön gewesen. Einzige wirkliche Einschränkung: Herd und Backofen waren nur sehr eingeschränkt funktionsfähig. Aber: 1. ist ein Super Grill vorhanden, der vieles wettmacht, und 2. hat der Besitzer viele nützliche Restauranttips hinterlegt.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
