Casey Key house description
This secluded 1+ acre property is considered PRIME GULF-FRONT on exclusive Casey Key. No obstructed view of the gulf and horizon for you, and no road to cross to get to your private beach. Just take 20 stair-steps from your deck down to the white sand. Or, walk east across the property through the palm hammock and watch the sunrise on your private dock. Shaded by a canopy of mangroves, the dock is ideal for launching a flats boat or kayaking to fish or bird watch in the mangrove islets. The 1500 square foot island-style, split-plan home was built in 1967. It was thoughtfully designed with a screened breezeway encompassing the gulf-side of the house. Features include wrap-around picture windows from room-to-room to create dramatic views of the Gulf of Mexico from all vantage points. The white terrazzo floors keep your feet cool and clean, and the 10' ceiling in the great room creates an open and airy feeling. The kitchen has been beautifully renovated with stainless farm sink and appliances, granite counter tops and water purifier. Each bathroom has two showers. One inside and one outside. There's nothing quite like showering outdoors with a view of the water for the nature lover. Truly a paradise for those who treasure their privacy and know what island-style living is all about. A perfect honeymoon destination or escape from the swirl and pressures of the everyday world. You'll never want to leave. Winter on the Beach
Winter on the Beach
We loved our winter stay in this comfortable house, fully equipped with household goods and mod cons (great tvs, wireless internet, etc.) and a view to die for! Directly on the Gulf and a practically deserted beach, the house is a perfect get-away. Kudos, too, to the managing agent, whose sophisticated competence made all details fall right into place. The house and property are very well kept and we'd recommend both the agent and the rental.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
If seclusion, privacy and quiet are important to you, this must be the place. The house is set far back from the road and screened by native landscaping on all sides except for the gulf-side. Sea turtles nest from May through October. Tarpon, snook, lady fish, manatees, and dolphins are easily spotted from your deck or the beach. A fly fisherman's paradise. Sea shells, fossils and ancient shark's teeth are abundant in the shoreline. Osprey, pelican, ibis, snowy egret, heron and other species fish in front of the house. The beauty is mesmerizing.
