Review Submitted July 23, 2012 Date of Stay July 1, 2012 My husband and I spent one of the best west shore weeks in twenty years at this lovely estate home. The home itself is warm, cozy and inviting and we loved sitting on the deck looking at the lake. Also, the downstairs great room has a great lake view as well as the three queen rooms upstairs. Each day we hiked the forest trails outside the back door, then brought our kayaks across the road and launched them from the shore. The beach is dog friendly and our lab, Mollee, swam each day. I will most remember the warm Tahoe feel of the home with the lovely wood bedrooms and relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen is especially cool as I love the retro look. We enjoyed cups of coffee and almond croissants sitting in the kitchen looking out to the forest. Although we had a couple of wonderful meals at Sunnyside, we mostly took advantage of the barbeque and ate on the deck. We plan to return next year and have recommended the home to our family and friends. The owner/agent was extremely helpful from the beginning to the end of the transaction which is so important to a relaxing vacation.
