We spent a wonderful August 2012 week at this pristine property located an easy 10 minute walk from one of the nicest parts of the beach in Montauk. If clean, new and comfortable is what you are looking for, this is the place. This may have been one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in away from home. We are a family of 4 with 2 daughters 18 and 22. This unit had every possible amenity to make our stay comfortable. Just a few of the things provided that might not be listed: Beach towels, chairs, umbrella, kadima set and a cart to take them to the beach with. A BBQ and a nice picnic table to eat outside. A porch swing. Water filter and dehumidfers. The owners' attention to detail was beyond compare. The master bedroom was quite large. The beds and bedding were all clean and comfortable. We travel with alot of "stuff" and there was plenty of space to stow it all. We thought 1 bathroom might be a problem but the spacious, clean and convenient outdoor shower was a real treat. There is a large beautiful fenced in yard that families with younger children would probably appreciate even more than we did. The owner was readily available to answer any questions and make great suggestions for places to eat. There were no concerns for her to address as she had already taken care of everything. The house is located in a lovely neighborhood where we took walks and bike rides every day. It is about a 20 minute bike ride to town. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for whom clean and comfortable is a priority. Montauk has retained some of its "fishing town" character though the quality of the restaurants is definately what you would expect in a high level resort. Nearby horsebackriding, fishing and whalewatching boat trips, watersport equipment rental means there is always something to do if you get tired of the beautiful beaches. Don't forget John's drive in for home made icecream.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

My family and I recently traveled to Montauk, NY for the first time and we had an amazing experience. We were pleasantly surprised with the weather, area and the friendly people. However, we were the most pleased with our stay at this home. It truly exceeded our expectations. Home was clean, organized, modern and most importantly very comfortable and welcoming. Although there was only one full bathroom shared amongst the five of us (which was my previous concern), an issue never arose because of the convenience of the large newly built outside shower. The size of the home fit us comfortably. Right from the beginning there was a very good communication between me and the owner. She promptly answered any questions or concerns that I had prior to renting her home. When we arrived to her place she warmly greeted us and continued to go above and beyond to help my family and I make our stay the best possible. She gave us great advice about what activities, shops and restaurants were the most popular and family friendly. Everything about our vacation in Montauk was great. Our stay at this home made that possible. We look forward to renting her place again for the summers to come.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.
