Located less than 20 minutes from Newark Liberty Airport and right across the Hudson River from New York City that can be reached in a short commute (by NJ Transit buses, PATH trains or NY Waterways Ferries), Hoboken is one of the best places to stay when visiting NYC. It is a safe place for families offering a diversity of restaurants, boutiques, parks and playgrounds, and definitely the best views of Manhattan, all within walking distance (one square mile only!).
Located on the 3rd floor (WALK-UP) of a historical brownstone building (built in 1892) uptown Hoboken, this condominium is ideal for a family of 4-6. The condo was renovated and upgraded in 2011. The master bedroom sleeps 2 adults (queen size bed), the children’s bedroom sleeps 2 (twin size bunk beds), and the other bedroom sleeps 1 (twin size bed). We recommend adults to not sleep on the top bunk bed for safety reasons. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, utensils, pots and pans, and small appliances (coffee maker, toaster). WiFi access and TV (no cable). Tour books, maps, and handbook with practical information available.
There is nothing easier than getting to Manhattan from the condo! It is located two short blocks away from the closest NJ Transit bus stop that will take you to Port Authority/Time Square in approximately 15 minutes (not during rush hour!). A 20-minute walk or a 5-minute bus ride will take you to the PATH station, where you can catch a train to to the Financial District/Chinatown (10 min.), Greenwich Village (10 min.), or 33rd street (15 min.).
Spend your days sightseeing in NYC and come back home to Hoboken, NJ to enjoy a dinner at home (grocery stores nearby), or treat yourself to one of the many nearby ethnic restaurants and relax.
You may also decide to take a break from NYC and relax in Hoboken, where there is plenty to do. Stroll around the birth town of Frank Sinatra, walk by the original baseball field, go up the hill and take a walk in the beautiful campus of Stevens Institute of Technology to enjoy a magnificent view of Manhattan from the George Washington Bridge all the way to the Financial district, shop at the many unique boutiques on Washington street, and take a peek inside Carlo’s Bake Shop that hosts Cake Boss, the TLC reality TV show. Fun for kids… Take your kids to the playground (5 of them within 10 minute walks).

About the owner: We are a family of five used to traveling abroad with small children. There is nothing better than finding a home away from home. When we realized that hotels were not an option for us any more, we were so happy to find vacation rentals where we could have more space, cook our own food/baby food, and relax. However, some of the places we found were not very kid friendly. So, we furnished our apartment with families in mind. By providing parents all cooking utensils and appliances they will need to make yummy home cooked dinners, and by providing children their own room, we are hoping to make your stay as a family in the New York City area even more enjoyable.
Why the Owner Chose Hoboken: We fell in love with Hoboken when our kids were born. This city is great for children, and you’ll see why when you come visit! It has the feel of a small village where everything is within walking distance. Yet it is so close to NYC! An easy commute away, it feels like you live in a neighborhood of NYC.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment: Great price for a great location! You will not be disappointed!
