Our cottage is centrally situated 25 minutes between Kelowna and Vernon on West Side Road in the gated community of La Casa Lakeside Cottage Resort. We have everything you will need to have a fabulous vacation in the Okanagan.
To start there are sweeping 180 degree views of Lake Okanagan. The cottage is finished to a very high standard, complete with gas fireplace, granite-like counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, hardwood and two full bathrooms. There are queen beds in the two bedrooms, one double bed in the lofted bedroom, and pull-out sofa in the living room.
All you need to bring is food and sunscreen, everything else is provided for you in the cottage from cooking utensils to beach towels. Enjoy some wine on the glass-paneled deck, fire up the gas bbq for dinner while watching the sun setting on the lake.
Use the onsite boat launch and marina. If you don’t have a boat, rent one just 10 km south of La Casa. You can play at the aqua park in the lake or swim in the 2 outdoor pools or relax in one of the 3 hot tubs. There is a 18 hole mini golf course, beach volley ball, tennis courts, and a large community bbq area.
During the warmer months, there is access to Crown land and the ATV trails that back onto the resort. Go horseback riding at Fintry Farms. At Fintry Provincial Park, just 2 km south of the resort, spend an afternoon, swimming at the sandy beach, visiting the historic Manor house, labyrinth and waterfall or hiking on the many local trails. You can visit over 14 wineries in the area. Golf at Spallumcheen, Predator Ridge or Gallagher’s Canyon. In the winter use the ATV trails for snow-shoe, cross country skiing, or if downhill is your thing Big White and Silverstar are 1.5 hr away.

This house had everything they promised and then some. All the little extras they thought of made our stay even more pleasant. The house is truly fully equipped, the view is amazing and the resort is fantastic. Spacious and very clean and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. Hoping to go back again some day!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was an awesome place to stay. My husband, 3 kids, and I spent a week here. It's awesome that the water is so close, and the water trampolines were great for the kids. It had something for everyone. It was very clean and had all of the amenities. I would reccomend this place to anyone who is looking for a getaway.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

La Casa is awesome! Great Views from this cottage! This cottage comes with everything you could possibly need except for food. Everything was in good working order, and clean! There is satellite TV or DVD's if you want to watch a movie, not that we had much time for those things. The upper pool is almost completed but the lower pool and hot tub were refreshing and the lake and aqua park were great! Beach is a bit rocky, but lots of place on the beach decks to lounge. There were 8 adults and we had a fabulous time. Lots of room on the deck for dinners outside. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any one. Highly recommend this place.Recommended for: Families with young children.
