Enter the building up five stone steps, and cross the entrance hall to your apartment door. The bright reception room with its high ceilings, original wooden floor and full height windows opens through French doors onto the prettiest private terrace, fully furnished and overlooking the trees and attractive gardens of the surrounding homes.
There is a stylish upholstered sofa and two comfortable and chairs arranged around a stone topped coffee table, and a dining table with four chairs beside the lovely old bow windows. The apartment is equipped with a flat screen, wall mounted color TV in the living room, DVD/CD player, a phone, and laptop with WIFI. The fully equipped and modern kitchen has a large refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, washer/ dryer, oven, coffee press, toaster and all utensils necessary for cooking and eating.
The apartment has two bedrooms one with a king sized bed and the other with a queen bed. The light and welcoming bedrooms are carpeted and elegantly furnished and have quaint balconies with typically English wrought iron railings. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room with WC. Both the en suite shower room and second bathroom with shower above the bath, are tiled in limestone, and we supply bathrobes, fluffy towels, liquid hand soap and hair dryers in each. There are two WCs.

We rented this super-gorgeous apartment in Wetherby Gardens from February 23rd - March 4th 2011. Upon arrival, the apartment was immaculately clean, beautifully designed, welcoming & warm. Wetherby Gardens, is a quiet residential garden square, that is located only moments away (by foot) from the Gloucester Road, Old Brompton Road and South Kensington. Whereby there are many of London's finest restaurants, wonderful shops and excellent public transport etc Another huge bonus was the fact that it was really, really quiet. As the apartment is situated at the back of a beautiful period building, facing the lovely communal gardens, away from the road. The French doors open out onto a lovely decked terrace, which is beautifully planted. Plus there was no noise from neighbours (which is always something that can disturb us, as we are used to living in a very quiet villa in Antibes) London Vacation Apartments had ensured that pretty much everything one could possibly need, whilst renting a 'holiday apartment' was already there & waiting for us!! The lovely sitting room and the 2 bedrooms are south facing, which even in dreary February were flooded with sunlight. We greatly look forward to our return and would recommend this beautiful apartment and excellent company in a heart beat!! All in all, when one considers hotel costs (and often the ambient noise endured, lack of privacy and being confined to living in one room whilst staying in a hotel) To rent such a beautiful apartment as this one, at a fraction of the cost of a hotel... is a dream come true!! Now that we have found London Vacation Apartments (..... and also Paris Vacation Apartments) .... it would be difficult to stay elsewhere if we were visiting the two cities.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
