In my twenty plus years of renting VRBO properties, this is the ONE that tops them all!!! An absolute stunning property which rendered me speechless when I walked through the front door. Warm, cozy, inviting, clean, lots of natural light, great bedding, spices, condiments, etc. The photos are great, but still don't do the house justice. The owner's clearly out did themselves with this property! Additionally, they were very kind and couldn't have made it easier to rent from. If you are looking for the perfect get away, don't waste any more timing looking - this is the one!!!!!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities.

I strongly recommend this vacation rental, it was just simply beautiful with peaceful surroundings!!! This home is also very child friendly with plenty for a family to do. Words can't describe my visit, I was very impressed with the ammenities and home decor as it was very comfy and made us all feel at home! The views of the mountains off in the distance and the beautiful sunrises were breathtaking. Recommend future visitors to pack your camera as you will need it! I can't wait to return.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

We visited this home for the weekend and all I can say is WOW! I wish we would have had more time- a whole week may not have been enough. There were so many things that were available to us at this beach home that we couldn't fit them all in. Bikes for the kids, a hot tub, games galore, and every ammenity you can imagine. We did not lack for anything. The kitchen was stocked with lots of basics for cooking and had every cooking pot or pan you could need. The home overlooked the water and we wished we would have had time to go crabbing. All of the bedrooms were gorgeously decorated and the sheets must have been of the very highest threadcount. I felt like a queen in the sleigh bed. Thick fluffy towels were in every bathrooms. The kids loved the polka dot decor and their room had books and kids' videos. Huge TVs in the downstairs living area and a great family room upstairs as well with a mini kitchen. Both overlooked the water. My sister booked another home on Camano during the same time frame for a slightly lower cost and there was absolutely NO comparison in the quality for just a few dollars more. It was so peaceful and such a wonderful stay that I hope we can come again and stay for a much, much longer time. Thanks so much for offering your beautiful home for others to enjoy. We will definitely be back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities.

We decided on Camano Island for a family getaway this summer because if offers a relaxed island vibe without the hassle of a ferry as well as good crabbing. We had high expectations for this home based on the property description. It did not disappoint. It is lovely; luxurious yet cozy and relaxed, and well appointed. The view was spectacular, and we spent many hours on the deck, in the hot tub, and upstairs in the sitting room taking it in. We used the rowboat and buoy provided, along with our own boat, to take advantage of the excellent crabbing directly in front of the house, which worked beautifully. Over three days we caught 42 crab and dined like royalty. (Side note: if you're looking for a good crab cake recipe, try Paula Deen's - Google it!). The owners were were very helpful, too, when we contacted them with questions. Overall, a fantastic experience that may become an annual event. Highly recommend!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

The listing description is accurate regarding location. || The listing photos accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. || The property was clean and well-maintained. || The owner was helpful in answering my questions or concerns. || I would recommend this property to a friend or relative. || I don't know what nearby activities, attractions, or restaurants to recommend (we stayed in the house all weekend). << NOTE: The listing states that no pets are allowed, but I think the homeowners have a dog. While the house was very clean and smelled fresh upon arrival, over the course of the weekend dog hair worked its way out of the carpet. One of our friends is allergic and had to pop some pills. It was not a big deal for our group but anyone with a serious dog allergy should take this into consideration. >> We had pretty bad weather during our trip and yet enjoyed a wonderful stay. I could not think of a more ideal setup for families! Our toddlers loved running around in the enclosed back yard which is totally visible from the kitchen and dining room. Beds were super comfy. Lots of amenities made a great stay even better (see listing for details). What a wonderful home!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful vacation at this home. The location is ideal, right on the beach, has a yard for the kids to play in, and everything you need to have a great time including a hot tub and a nice yard. It was even stocked up for kids with dishes, books, high chair, bikes, etc. What a gem! We will certainly return next year!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

A Magical Weekend!

We spent a magical weekend at the Hansen’s place in Camano Island for our family reunion. As we walked in on Friday, the house smelled fresh and clean, calming music was playing in the background… it was all very relaxed and welcoming. The house is charming with high attention to detail. You can tell that there was a lot of thought (and love!) that were put into the design of the house. As we opened the door to the deck, we were welcomed by the fresh ocean breeze and two cute seals that were swimming nearby. The deck is magnificent, with comfy chairs, a BBQ, a small piece of grass (which our toddler loved) and is only steps away from the ocean. In the evening, we grabbed a cup of tea and went to sit by the chairs near the ocean- it was magical! The kitchen has pretty much any equipment that you can imagine, and spices I never knew existed ? all for you to enjoy. There is a large dining table inside the house, and a smaller one outside (we had breakfast and lunch outside in the fresh air, and dinner in the cozy house). The living room has a huge TV, many DVDs to choose from (think movie night!) and even a piano. Upstairs you can find 4 bedrooms, nicely decorated. If you have an infant or a toddler- not to worry! Judy has a high chair and a pack-and-play which will be ready for you. There are even some books and toys for them to play with. The Hansen’s were super friendly. The reservation process was very easy. We got a detailed email with directions and instructions. They even let us check in a little early as there was no-one visiting the day before. We called them a couple of times after we got to the house, as we had questions about the Wi-fi network and fridge and they were very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend to go grocery shopping prior to arrival so that you can cook in the house. There are a few places to go nearby but trust me- the house is so much fun you wouldn’t want to leave. Upstairs you will find a second living room with a huge window that overlooks the water. We had a wonderful family reunion at the beach house of the Hansen’s and would come back again any time!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you Anat and Family for being our guests at The Beach House and for taking such lovely care of our home! Bob enjoyed meeting you and we are so glad you had a wonderful time! Please know that you are welcome back anytime and we appreciate you all! Bob and Judy Hansen

What a wonderful home to spend a weekend in! We stayed here with another couple, my son and a friend of his. The house was so welcoming and comfortable. We walked in and music was playing, lights were on, and the house was ready to use. The house is right on the beach so my son could fish and we could relax on the huge deck. The beds and bedding were wonderful, as were the recliners upstairs and down. The view was amazing as well. I can't say enough "good" about the house. We will definitely visit again. Thank you!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
