Your backdrop to this private dead end road Lakefront home is the beautiful Olympic Peninsula, arrive by float plane as some do, or take the Edmonds, Downtown, or West Seattle ferry to the beautiful Peninsula.
Fish from the dock, swim from the dock, grill your freshly caught trout on one of the outdoor bbq's, or your seafood you collected that day from world renowned Hood Canal(the longest Fjord in North America is 10 minutes away), along with some of the best hiking, ORV'ing, horse trailriding in the Pacific Northwest(speak with the owner regarding bringing livestock)mountain biking, hour and half to the Pacific Ocean.
Drive 30 minutes and take a ferry ride to Seattle for the day, to some of the best shopping and site seeing. Or go catch a salmon on a local river, and come back for fireside stories with family and friends. Don't forget, some awesome NW powder skiing is an hour and half away!

Their is a ton to do in area, along with relaxing. I have been hiking at Guillemont Cove in Seabeck recently in the mornings, stunning hike, but a workout! You could stay in your pajamas all day, don't forget to reel those poles in at night.

Great Place to Have a Great Time!
Great Place to Have a Great Time!
I can't begin to tell you how much fun this property is. Once you check in, there is literally no need to leave as there is just so much stuff to do. Pickle ball, basketball, swimming, relaxing in the hot tub, grilling, fishing, sitting around the fire pit making s'mores, etc and that is just the outside. Inside they have a TON of board games, cable television, video games, etc...but who really wants to be inside when the weather is nice and there is just so much stuff to do outside? We bought groceries before going...everything you need is in kitchen and it feels like cooking at home. There is a dishwasher (who wants to do dishes on vacation?). Nice appliances...i especially loved the stove that has a grill on top if you want they have amazing stove with a grill if you want to make burgers or steaks inside (again, not sure why you would do that). There is a lot of seating area outside if you want to have a BBQ or friends over. They have an awesome gas grill on the deck as well as a second charcoal grill near the fire pit. We used both over the course of the weekend. The owner is really nice and super helpful. We never left the house (except a store run), however I understand there are really cool hikes nearby and I noticed a few restaurants and bars nearby in Belfair and even saw a sign for a batting cage. Again, this is a great place to rent with a group of friends or maybe just as a family. You can not run out of fun things to do.

Year Purchased: 1989
About the owner: We are a family with a 14 year old boy-Hunter, and two cats, Indie and Orangie, my husband is retired from The Department of Defense where he was a Management Analyst, I am in Residential Real Estate Sales for over 10 years. We list our house when we are down south at our other house in Peoria, and vice versa. I am a clean freak, and you will find the house to be immaculate. I have always rented our vacation rentals through VRBO when we travel, so I know the mistakes not to make. Nothing worse than renting a house for a week with one roll of paper towels, and two rolls of tp. :)
Why the Owner Chose Tiger Lake:
This property is picture perfect clean water lakefront, that allows water sports on all boats, but does not allow jetskis. Their is a gas BBQ for food, and a Charcoal one for seafood, that can be caught, or found on the beach, less than 10 minutes away 'The Beautiful Hood Canal' The longest fjord on North America. Their is a ton of beautiful spots to hike, mountain bike ect. This is the beautiful Olympic Peninsula! Take a day trip to the ocean, and hour and half away. Comfy lounge chairs provided, along with two outdoor tables and two different decks, each with an umbrella. Onsite, is your own lakeside Firepit, with wood provided. A dock you can use to moor your boats, or canoes, or kayaks. Their are tons of kayakers on the lake. In the winter, curl up with a good book, and watch the northern birds nesting the winter on the lake. Keurig coffee maker, some coffee provided. Plenty of rooms to accomadate RV'ers, or ORV'ers, or simply a family gathering, class reunion or wedding, with 60 guests or less. Ferry to Seattle is 30 minutes away! One hour away is some of the best diving on the western side of the US, in beautiful Union, Wa.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
I fish almost every day right now. Nothing better than eating your freshly grilled trout that you just caught. Love it. Pickelball is so fun, and it is always great to run a mini tournament, hot tubbing under the stars on a beautiful night on the lake- nothing better. I love fires, and grilling. We often go down to the Hood Canal, and get oysters and clams when the freinds are over. My fav recipe, oysters that pop open, put some tabasco, butter, and horseradish on oyster on shell, and keep cooking for 10 min. with lid closed. Open-down the hatch! :) Take a short hour and half drive to the Pacific Ocean, walk on the ferry to Seattle. Great shopping, and sight seeing. Surrounded by four awesome Golf Courses, one five minutes away. If u r their in summer, our boat will be tied up and covered, still room for another boat, if you would like to bring yours. We have a paddleboat, I fish in it all the time, but mostly right from the dock. The hiking, mountain biking, and ORVing, diving, are some of the best in the world. You will not be disappointed. Be safe, and have fun!
