Come and share our home Villa de La Familia...The Family Villa... we have a very private yard landscaped with beautiful tropical plants and trees. We have a kiddie pool and a pool with a diving board... 8 poolside lounge chairs and if you want to relax in the shade... we have a beautiful thatched palm tree kiosk with rocking chairs and an outside table... Most of our guests dine outside under the kiosk... sometimes we gather around the outdoor bar too!

It's so nice to wake up and sit by the pool in your night shirt and have your cup of coffee. Then you can have Isabela bring out some fresh fruit and breakfast and more coffee :)

Villa de La Familia has five Queen beds and two single beds... it has two... 2 bedroom suites... and 2 single bedrooms... all the bedrooms have ceiling fans and air conditioning. Your maid, Isabela is a great cook and keeps an impeccably clean house... she does your laundry and serves your food with a smile :) Luis is your caretaker, he keeps the pool nice and clean and keeps the garden blooming. Isabela and Luis work together to make your vacation hassle free and enjoyable.

Playa Cofresi has alot to offer right in walking distance... restaurants... the beach... little trinket shops... horse back riding...slots, black jack, craps and poker and much more...

  • Visit the Ocean World complex and swim with dolphins and sharks by day and play some slots, black jack and craps at night. The casino had it's grand opening December 2006. However if gambling is not for you then you can go there and enjoy dinner at their resataurant and enjoy a Las Vegas like show. Or you can just take a nice walk along the beach ..all of this is within walking from La Familia.

  • As soon as you walk in the front door of Villa de la Familia, you're greeted by such colorful decor, which matches the colors on the patio and pool area. Very tranquil surroundings that were oh so private and enjoyable. The food was great as were the roomy accommodations found in this six bedroom, three bathroom villa. We were within walking distance to the beach and attractions, plus there were guided tours available. I'm hoping to return some day to this little piece of Heaven.   • We stayed at the Villa over New Years. Everyone was in agreement that it was the best vacation ever! From Gabino picking us up at the airport to the moment we left, everything went very smoothly. Ruth was wonderful - her cooking was excellent and she was a huge help at the grocery store. The pool and house were kept in perfect order. We did many activities - snorkeling, ATVing, white water rafting in the mountains - some arranged by Gus and others on our own. Everyone was friendly & the weather was lovely. Susi, the owner, was SO helpful - as I had not rented a house over the internet before and had many questions. I would love to return and stay for longer next time. I don't think anyone would be disappointed here.

  • We stayed in La Familia over the Christmas holiday and it was the best holiday I can remember. The staff was wonderful, the house very comfortable. A man named Gus came to the Villa and arranged all the extra activities for us. I would highly recommend this.We deep sea fished, went scuba, snorkeling,white water rafting and a jungle jeep trip. All were excellent and much better than the mass transit from the local resorts. I would return in a minute if I could! I thought the groceries were expensive, but less than eating out, and much nicer. You can stay here and feel welcome and safe. The Dominican people were encountered were ALL very friendly and gracious. Misha

  • I couldn't have asked for more of a piece of paradise. We had a fabulous time here at villa de la familia. The staff was extremely welcoming and warm and catered to our every need. the Pool is fantastic and very private. The food that the maid cooks is out of this world. Our highlight was Ocean World. We swam with the sharks, rays and dolphins. the people there was just as friendly. I would reccommend this villa to anyone interested in really feeling like they are on vacation. You never lift a finger. and you leave with a great big smile. BEAUTIFUL.
