Step out the front door of this beautifully decorated, three bedroom, three-level townhome in the exclusive Silver Lake area of Upper Deer Valley and step into your skis! A quiet cat track trail passes by your front door high up in the mountains and leads right to the Success Run of the world class Deer Valley Resort. The combination of a peaceful, wooded setting with wondrous mountain views and the ability to ski home for a relaxing, private soak in the hot tub is vacation at its finest.
This Ridgepoint townhouse has three large bedrooms - a master with a king and private bath and luxurious guest rooms with a queen bed and comfortable twin beds sharing a full bath. All bedrooms are on the lower level for enhanced quiet and privacy. This level also has a balcony and brand new, private six-person hot tub and full-size Whirlpool washer and dryer. There is additional sleeping capacity with a queen sleeper sofa in the third level loft and all linens are provided.
The main level has a fully-equipped kitchen with brand new stainless steel microwave, ceramic range, dishwasher, side by side refrigerator, and place settings for 10 with seating at the counter and dining table. The living room features a large sofa and cable flat screen television with DVD and VCR, a woodburning fireplace, and sliding glass doors to an upper deck with mountain views and a gas grill. The loft provides a separate area with another flat screen TV, XBox 360, Gamecube, Nintendo & Playstation and a complete music sound system. A wide variety of movie titles, games, and books are provided for guests.
Hi-speed internet with an advanced modem and WiFi (for up to 5 computers), as well as fax and printer are provided. Free and unlimited long distance (US only) and call waiting and caller id also included.
Ridgepoint offers a heated pool in the summer and a community spa year round as well as tennis and basketball courts. Covered parking is included. Deer Valley is famous for its amazing cuisine and exceptional service, but a ten minute drive to Park City (or free shuttle within two blocks) offers over 100 restaurants and endless recreational activities. The amazing benefit of this location is that three world class resorts - Deer Valley, Park City Resort and The Canyons - are all within ten minutes of each other and Snowbird, Alta, Solitude, and Brighton are within an hour of this peaceful retreat up the mountain.

Why the Owner Chose Silver Lake Village
We fell in love with the Park City area during a visit after the Olympics. The quaint character of the town and the wondrous mountains surrounding it make this a unique destination. Only 35 minutes from the Salt Lake airport to 3 of the top ski resorts in the country! We ski out our front door to Deer Valley or drive 10 minutes to Park City resort or 20 minutes to the Canyons. There are over 100 restaurants to choose from and they range from 5 star to family style with some of the most gourmet food right on the hill at Deer Valley. We live in California and have found that Utah offers the best snow and the fastest way to get to it.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
Our home is mid-mountain Deer Valley and the best benefit is the fact that we get up in the morning, walk out the front door and ski down to Deer Valley. We ski back to our front door at the end of the day and store our skis in our porch closet and head for our private hot tub. No hassles hauling heavy equipment and the ability to ski your first run in the morning down Success before the lifts open! We are up in the mountains but just 10 minutes drive from Main St. and all that Park City has to offer.

This was our second year to rent this unit at Ridgepoint in Silver Lake Village. It is an absolutely beautiful townhome in an extraordinarily convienent location. The rates were fair and competitive. In fact, the rates were a real bargain for the slopeside Deer Valley market which we took the time to investigate thoroughly prior to renting. The owners make a big deal out of the fact that you can ski from the front door and ski back to the front door but must walk about 75 yards on the return trip. There is a short walk involved but it is NOT a big deal. I think their disclosure is evidence of honesty. More importantly, the unit comes with an owner that takes a great deal of pride in the property and understands just how precious vacation time is to the vacationer. The owner displayed a rare attribute in the vacation rental market; bona fide integrity. The second or third night we developed an unforseeable-unpreventable plumbing issue and my first response was to be angry and almost come unglued. A single phone call to the owner resulted in a prompt plumbing solution, a room at a nearby Marriot pending the solution, and an unsolicted offer to refund two nights rent for a fiasco that lasted less than 16 hrs total. I was impressed and sincerely grateful. We travel not infrequently and frequntly rent from the VRBO site. We have experienced quite a diverse range of owner attitudes, property quality, and accuracy in the website photos and descriptions. This is the best overall property I have rented. It is accurately depicted and descibed on the site...AND It comes with the finest of owner-landlord-property managers you will ever encounter .

This condo. was beautifully decorated and very well furnished. We had everything we could have needed for our stay. The hot tub and fireplace were the icing on the cake. Very clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful from the first moment that we made an inquiry into the property. Easy ski in and out access even for a beginner skier. The location of this property is very convenient to downtown Park City, which we found to have some of the best dining we have experienced. We had a wonderful vacation here and fully intend to return. We would highly recommend this property . 5 star rating!!!!
