Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved the location, it was away from all the busyness. My girls loved the bikes.The third floor ocean view gave us lots of sun and a beautiful sunset view. The only complaint was the dryer did not get hot. Manager responded on 4/8/2013: We love Seamist #12, too! The location is in the perfect spot - conveneient to shops and restaurants, but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The views are breathtaking and the balcony is an added plus. We apologize that the dryer did not get hot and worked to get that taken care of for your as quickly as possible. The view of the beach from the balcony is incredible! The outdoor furniture allowed us to enjoy our morning coffee at the table or just reading and relaxing in the other chairs. The condo had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It is also pet friendly, so we were able to take our two little dogs and they loved it, too! We absolutely plan to return to Seamist # 12 and would recommend it to anyone. Picky negatives - the handle on the rear sliding door was loose and came off. Over-arching positives - great view, on the beach, in the heart of 30A between Rosemary Beach Town Center and Seaside, free bicycle from BigFish, free movies each night, great food all week, good support from Royal Beach Rentals. Rating Details: I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very unhappy with the location. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you have any physical issues or disabilities, this is NOT the place for you! Nowhere in the information did it say there was no elevator, and nowhere did it say that there are over 40 steps to climb to get to and from the beach. I have RA and the entire stay I was having to cope with physical pain from hiking stairs. In addition, the carpet in the living room had been peed on by what looked like numerous dogs (it needs to be removed or replaced), and the DVD was not correctly set up so we could not take advantage of the "free DVD's" on rainy days. There was not enough toilet paper provided so we had to buy our own, and there was not enough pots and pans for cooking even for two, nor was enough dish washing powder provided since we had to reuse the same three pots every day. The bathroom is in serious need of an upgrade - I was worried every time I used the shower that I was going to break the faucet just turning it on, and the shower head looked like it was from the 1950's. For the price, this location was not at all what we expected and was not worth it. In fact, because we did not have the information about the many stairs, it pretty much ruined our vacation. I thought in this era of ADA that the lack of access would need to be explained at the very least, so we could make an informed decision. Future renters be warned! We do have many ADA accessible accommodations that we hope you will look into for your future vacations. We also provide a starter kit of amenities for our guests until they have an opportunity to get to the nearest store and have addressed the items you mentioned that need attention.
