A spacious, comfortable, secure apartment well situated on the fourth floor of an elegant 19th century building with elevator at Via Vittoria Colonna:
Only a 5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, 7 minutes to Piazza Navona, and 15 minutes to Saint Peter's Cathedral & the Vatican Museum. From this location, the most important historical sights of the Eternal City can be reached very quickly like Trevi Fountain or Saint Angel Castle! And if you don't want to walk you can arrive to Saint Peter's by bus #87 or Colossuem by bus #81 (the bus stop is just in front of our building!)

The apartment was recently completely renovated. Everything is new and neat, and as you can see from the pictures, it’s very modern, with high quality furnishings. This is a 2 bed rooms apartment: one master suite with en suite bathroom and jacuzzi shower and a smaller bedroom with 2 single beds that can turn into a double bed with a second bath. Both rooms have high quality mattresses!
There is also a lovely and spacious living room with a double sofa bed, a dining area and separate kitchen! The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, American coffee maker, kettle, gas stove with oven, fridge/freezer unit, as well as all the other necessary appliances like, iron and ironing board!
The apartment has air conditioning in both rooms and in the living room (daikin emura mini splits, great quality and functioning), parquet floors, iphone-ipod stereo, LCD TV/Sat to watch international tv channels in every room. ADSL & Wi-Fi internet connection keeps you in touch with the world, last but not the least we provide a pc and a printer to let you print boarding passes or tickets for museums or simply surf the web! and a land line to received phone calls from your beloved and to make locals and national phone calls!
Of course, since it’s in a delightful central neighborhood, it is well connected to public transportation to go everywhere and it is well served by a variety of local cafes, great restaurants, supermarkets, and delicatessens / convenience stores. There is a welcoming Italian café for breakfast or lunch only a few steps from the building, by the way: this neighborhood is the safest in Rome!
The apartment has only one key for the main front door and the apartment itself has no keys - only digit codes so that you don't have to worry about losing the keys.

5 of us (all adults) spent 3 nights at the apartment during our 10 day vacation/road trip around Italy. The apartment was just fantastic. Besides meeting all of our needs, it also exceeded our expectations. Very clean, spacious and a great location to see all of the sites. We walked everywhere with no difficulty (including our 80 year old mother) Another great aspect of the apartment rental was Silvio. He was extremely helpful and accommodating. All of us in the group would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit Rome in the future.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay in Silvio's apartment, it was clean, spacious and had all the comforts of home, which is great to have while traveling. Silvio is awesome, he really cares about his guests and it definatley shows, he goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Great customer service from beginning to end and that goes for Gina arranging all of our private tours for us as well, everything and everybody was just fabulous!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The location of the apartment in Rome was excellent. It was within walking distance to many main attractions in Rome as well as excellent restaurants and shopping. The bus stop was practically outside the door to the apartment building. The apartment itself was exactly as shown. There were 6 people staying in the 2 bedroom apartment but with the pullout couch we were all well accommodated. We felt very safe in this apartment building which was locked in the evening from street level and our own apartment had electronic bolts. Silvio, the owner was extremely helpful with directions and answers to our questions. When the WiFi stopped working he came over immediately to fix it. He was available by phone at all times if need be.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Excellent host. Central location in friendly neighborhood close to everything you need. My wife, another couple, and I had a lovely stay with lots of room and great amenities. Other than a light rain on a day or two, the stay in Rome was fantastic! Will be back again.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

A perfect apartment for my family, I have an 18 mths kiddo. We spent 4 nights at Silvio's apartment. Everything was walking distance. There were many great restaurants nearby. The apartment is bright and spacious. Silvio was a great host, he answered all our questions very promptly. I would definitely stay at the apartment again the next Rome visit.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

I just returned home form our trip to Italy where my family of 6 stayed in this apartment. Silvio greeted us in front of the apartment and showed us how to get to all the sights from the apartment and they were all very close. The apartment was very nicely decorated it seemed newly remodeled. It was a very quiet apartment, very nice tv in all rooms, nice roomy showers. The location is truly central to all the main sights and bus stop directly in front of the apartment.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The apartment was extremely nice; just like in the photos! Loved the fact that this apartment had wifi, a washing machine and a land line (knowing that I could call Silvio directly was a big plus)! Silvio was available at all times--either via e-mail or the land line. If I had questions regarding directions, method of transportation, suggestions for areas of town to dine in, etc., I would e-mail Silvio and he would answer me within 15 minutes! He is a very pleasant, helpful man. The apartment is updated, very spacious, clean, and overall beautiful! We did find it a little further than a 5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, however. It was more like a 20 minute walk, but we walk a little slowly. If I return to Rome, I will DEFINITELY stay here!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Our stay in Rome was amazing! With three children ranging in age from 12 to 6, we were a little concerned that Rome may not be the ideal vacation. Thanks to this great apartment, it worked out perfectly! We were close to everything - within walking distance of plenty of places to eat, fun places to shop, and best of all - amazing sight seeing opportunities. There were nearby places to get some groceries to save on the expense of dining out in Rome, and the apartment had a full kitchen which was very nice. My only suggestion: you need to get some wine glasses in the cupboards. ;) Silvio was very helpful in assisting in our airport transportation and great about checking in to see if we needed anything. We would absolutely recommend this apartment to friends and relatives and hope to be back one day, ourselves!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Our family spent 2 weeks in Rome for the Christmas Holidays. Thanks to Silvio it was a wonderful experience. Silvio is an excellent landlord and really takes great care of his renters. He arranged for transportation to and from the airport. He also took us all for a short tour around the neighborhood and gave us some great suggestions for food, entertainment and most importantly what to "expect" while in Rome. The apartment was perfect. Spacious and very clean. We were all very comfortable during our stay. The neighborhood is wonderful as well. We were able to walk everywhere and only took the bus once. About the owner: i am 36 and got married july 2012! i really love meeting my guests, even though because we have about 2000 guests every year, i am not able sometimes to meet everybody, but keep in touch regulary though land line phone or email. my family and i have started this turistic company, in the summer 2013 we will have 5 owned apartments and we plan to have 8/9 apts in 2014. it is a big effort and now it has become my full time job.
Why the Owner Chose Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps):
because it is the perfect area. it can be reached by car as no traffic block, and from there u can arrive anywhere in the city
it is incredible silent, which is a plus in roma, and the air conditioning is really excellent.
plus there is an elevator!
great restaurants nearby: you have to try splendor or la barchetta restaurants!
really excellent!!!!!
