For dining enjoyment, there are several good restaurants within a short walking distance: Sands Of Kahana Restaurant next door and Dollies Cafe & Pub across the street. Black Angus Steak House, Roy's, and McDonalds are all in the Kahana Gateway Center, a block away. The Ritz Carleton Hotel at Kapalua and the various hotels in Kaanapali (both about a 5 min. drive away) offer even more dining and a variety of retail shops. Be sure and spend some time in downtown Lahaina with it's fun Front Street shops and many restaurants.

My husband and I took our two children ages 4 and 8 to this wonderful condo. We went March 10th to the 16th and we saw turtles wash up on the beach and whales from the condo unit. The views are amazing and the location so close to the beach was perfect with the small children. Also one of our favorite parts was the bbq area the kids could swim while we prepared dinner and the BBQ's were top of the line. The condo unit is completely remodeled with a beautiful brand new kitchen and also with the kids it was nice to have a washer and dryer right in the unit. Everything about our stay here was beyond perfect! The unit was delightful, we felt so indulged! Staged nicely, comfortable, everything you need and then some! And, oh, the bed! After a long day of fun in the sun, felt so good to climb into one of the most comfortable beds we have ever experienced! About one minute to sandy beach front, and there were some wonderful beach chairs at our disposal,too! Never used the pool, but it looked inviting! And convenient, as well, with restaurants and a grocery store right around the corner. We didn't want to leave. It was a "delicious" experience, and we already want to go back. The lanai offered perfect views, and the sounds of the crashing waves rocked us to sleep. Highly recommend staying here! We have just returned from a stay in this beautiful condo! The view from the lanai was amazing and the grounds are immaculately kept! The pool is awesome with very comfortable lounge chairs. It was wonderful to just walk right out to the beach every night to watch the beautiful sunset. The owners were very friendly and very accommodating! We would highly recommend this condo!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful two weeks at this beautiful condo and it far exceeded all of our expectations! It was a beautifully furnished, very clean, well-kept, like-new condo with all the amenities we could imagine. We loved the neighborhood -close to some of the most beautiful beaches on Maui, across the street from restaurants, an ABC store, bank and within a mile of anything you need. The view from the lanai is spectacular and the beach out front is fabulous (with lots of turtles). We had a very relaxing & wonderful time here and would highly recommend it to anyone needing a refreshing break from all the pressures of normal daily life!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

About the owner: We are retired educators who enjoy traveling. Hawaii is one of our favorite spots to visit (in fact we were married there!), and we are very excited to recently be able to enjoy it even more with our newly purchased condo at the Valley Isle Resort in Kahana. In March, we spent a month updating the condo for our enjoyment and yours as well!
Why the Owner Chose Kahana:
We decided to purchase a condo in Hawaii because it is one of our favorite places to visit. We have visited all of the Hawaiian islands except for Niihau and have fallen in love with Maui. Every trip we have made to Maui, we have had some incredible new and wonderful experience. Maui no ha oi (Maui is the best!)
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our resort faces both Lanai and Molokai so you can enjoy looking at two other Hawaii islands while relaxing on the white sandy beach of Kahana. There is no other view in all of the islands, that looks between two islands! The Spirit of Aloha is always there whether you are relaxing in the heated swimming pool, exercising at the on-site gym, booking your activities on-site, grilling at the new large gas barbeques, watching weddings on the front lawn, snorkeling on Kahana beach, or gathering on the beach to listen to the conches blow at sunset and sharing stories with new and old friends. Very close by you can snorkel at the many different incredible beaches in West Maui, or go to the farmers market and get fresh Maui fruit and vegetables, or do a zip line or parasail. Other Maui activities include a trip to Hana, or the Haleakala crater, or the winery, or attend a luau, or golf. You usually can't do it all so you will just have to return!
