My family & I had a wonderful time here. My sister-in-law was getting married and we needed a place for some of our out of town guests to stay. I made a "staycation" out of it, and we all absolutely loved staying here. We had smaller children, so having the play area was a blessing. The location is very convenient to everything. The homeowner is extremely nice & accommodating, and was a pleasure to work with. Would definitely book again in the future if we needed a place again :) Thank you!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a very nice & relaxing trip to San Diego. The location of this rental property is great for heading either south to Cornado Island, the zoo, or down to the city or north to visit other beaches or restaurants on Garnet St. The property owner was very helpful & great with keeping in touch about arrival instructions.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway.

My boyfriend and I stayed with Kerri and John on our cycling trip and it was wonderful. We had the guesthouse to ourselves and felt very comfortable. The house was immaculate and just what we needed. We cooked at home most nights and used the grill to make our meals complete. They are located so close to everything we wanted- in bike distance!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

I LOVED this place! It was clean, quiet, and roomy. You can lounge on the cozy patio while watching the kids play on the playground. The owners were delightful and hospitable. I'd recommend this to anyone.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car.

Cute 1 bedroom place perfect for a couple. The only drawback was no TV. Even on vacation we like to keep up with the news and relax in the evening. Other than that it's the perfect place to stay. Close to Sea World, downtown, Seaport Village, Old Town and Balboa Park. The owners were very friendly and helpful.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

We had a wonderful experience and stay. I will try to be very fair and do pros and cons (although the cons weren't much of a con to me). Cons: 1-We were there when it was exceptionally humid and the guest house was quite warm. We did a lot of sweating the first couple of days and it was pretty uncomfortable inside (but we didn't spend a ton of time inside). 2-I'm not small and the toilet area is....so my arm kept knocking the tp off it's holder when I sat. 3-Hideaway bed wouldn't be comfy for an adult, but for young kids it was totally fine, their bodies didn't span the bars. 4-You can hear the pitter patter of little feet above you sometimes. Never loud or annoying and didn't bother us at all (but if you are looking for silence....). Pros: 1-THE YARD. We came with 3 young children (6, 4, and 2). It was so much easier to unload, load, and just be there than it could ever be in a hotel. My kids played on the swingset almost every moment we were there. It made it possible for the 2 year old to take afternoon naps while the older kids played outside (that could never happen in a hotel!). 2-LAUNDRY. I hadn't planned to wash clothes there but underestimated how many outfits my kids would go through. It was so nice to treat and wash what would have stained if I had left it. 3-LOCATION. We were there (as you might guess) for the zoo, seaworld, and the beach. All were close and easy to access. It is close to the freeway and VERY close to seaworld. It was the perfect location! 4-AMENITIES. Although it doesn't have a full kitchen, we made use of the fridge, microwave and BBQ outside. We actually went on an extremely tight budget, and with a little planning, were able to make all of our meals and save a ton of money not eating out. (I know that is not how most would travel, but it nice to have the convenience of a small fridge and ways to cook.) 5-PATIO and DECK. The first night we were able to go on the upper deck and watch seaworld fireworks. We enjoyed sunsets up there as well. We invited guests a couple of times to join us for dinner and BBQ'd out on the patio. It was relaxing and nice to feel like we could use that space freely. My husband and I sat out there and enjoyed the evenings visiting after we put the kids to bed. 6.KERRI. Kerri was so kind and friendly. She totally gave us our space, but made sure we felt welcome and free to feel at home. It was a great place to stay and I would return and recommend it to others.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This was an absolutely perfect little guesthouse for our family trip to San Diego for the week. The property description is exactly as written and is situated right off I5 (within 2 1/2 miles from Sea World) and had great freeway access to all the spots we traveled to (Coronado, Silver Strand, Sea World, Balboa Park, Little Italy, Del Mar). Our son thoroughly enjoyed being able to view the nightly fireworks from Sea World. The unit was extremely clean and comfortable and the owners are wonderful......if you need anything, all you need to do is ask. We will definitely look at renting this again for our next trip....thanks Kerri!!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
