This 8,000 sq. ft. Ralph Lauren style family home was built in 2008 from massive Douglas fir logs.Open the front door to a breathtaking view of Bald Mountain and two story height livingroom with large stone fireplace. Seating for 20 in comfortable sofas and chairs and including two card/game tables all with breathtaking views. This home is located in the heart of Sun Valley, walking distance to Dollar Mountain, the Sun Valley Lodge and the Symphony Pavillion with full breathtaking views of Bald Mountain from most all rooms. The floor to ceiling windows afford additional views to surrounding mountain ranges. The many French doors open up to a large stone terrace for entertaining complete with built-in barbeque, stone fireplace, and dining table for 10 facing the mountain. The stone wall surrounding the terrace affords seating for a crowd.
The kitchen is a gourmet's delight with Viking products throughout and a Sub-zero refridgerator, two dishwashers, plenty of honed granite workspace including a bar area for guests to enjoy and help in food prepartion. Hammered copper sinks and fully stocked for preparing any menu. Walk in pantry and beverage center.The magahony round dining table seats 12 and opens to the outdoor terrace. The state of the art media room seats 5 with 100' projection TV in great comfort. The mud room with cubbies and full laundry room are entered from the garage.
There are two master bedrooms beautifully furnished, one downstairs with full office and masterbath with his and hers closets with doors out to outdoor heated jacuzzi tub.. Second master bedroom upstairs also has two closets and master bath with mountain views in multiple directions.. Both masters have fireplaces.
Two more bedrooms upstairs, one queen and one with two twin beds(can be combined for king bed) each with own bath and custom closets. The bunk room over the garage is reachable from the upstairs and has 3 sets of built-in double beds and a full-sized pool table. All bedrooms have their own baths.
This a one of a kind lodge-style home that has every amenity anyone could ask for in a private setting.

What an incredible stay. Far cry from Woodbine, Ia. It was perfect place Can not find a nicer home to visit in all of Sun Valley. I have been going there for over 30 years. Thanks for the memories.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers.
