The Casa Rosita is located on 8 panoramic view acres in the Joshua Tree Highlands adjacent to the Rosebud Ruby Star Ranch one-half mile above the paved road that is the West Entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Renovated and decorated by installation artist Sandy Rosen, the Casa provides a unique hideaway surrounded by cactus, Joshua trees, and other desert flora from which to view the amazing desert skies, coyotes, quail, rabbits, roadrunners, lizards, hummingbirds, and perhaps to see the two desert tortoise who visit the property as part of their five-mile circuit.
The Casa has 2 patios, one complete with an exterior dining room, bbq, and a hot/cold bathtub for outdoor bathing experience. The second patio has lounges with sleeping bags as well as an outdoor fireplace. The living room/dining room area has a large slider and views of the JTNP park mountains as well as the tilted plains of the nearby BLM land. In front of the fireplace there is a pillowed queen sized matress/box for lounging or additional sleeping space.
