Ocean paradise awaits you in this large, 5 bedroom/3 bath, open floor planned beach house with screened-in heated pool and lanai. Just bring your swimsuits and sunscreen and strole to your own private beach (just a 8 minute walk). Privately fenced back yard. Roomy enough for two families vacationing together. This updated, spacious beach house has master bedroom with private bath area, King size bed overlooking the pool through french doors. The other 4 bedrooms all have queen size beds. This home has Wifi, pool and beach toys, lots of closet space and large garage. Our beach house is just 15 miles from Siesta Key; the number one rated beach in Florida. 1 Mile from quaint shops and restaurants and less than 1 mile to Sharkey's on the Pier where you can dive into delicious seafood, watch the pelicans hanging out or rent a pole and do some fishing. Not up for going out? Grab some juicy steaks and grill them by the pool. If your looking to relax in a quiet neighborhood or hit the white sandy beach of Siesta Key, or take in the theatre or concerts in Sarasota, this is the ONLY place for you.

This home was nothing short of amazing! We had a large group of 11 during our stay.... so, finding a nice place with enough beds and space to accomodate us was challenging! When we found this house we thought it was too good to be true, but we were not let down at all!!! The home is very nice, clean and welcoming. Each bedroom is great, the kitchen is well stocked and the very best thing about this house is the private pool! The pool was so peaceful, refreshing and relaxing! The owners are amazing to work with. Very friendly and helpful!Owner response: Mindy, Thanks so much for taking the time to post. I am so happy you had fun and enjoyed our home as much as we do. This was a spectacular vacation. This house is a dream. Beautiful interior, with lots of room. Fully equipped kitchen was very economical for us to cook quite a few of our meals. Ate our meals on the patio next to the heated pool. Very relaxing and the pool was very clean and refreshing. This house is located near anything you would need, groceries, gas, restaurants, malls, etc. The little shops near by make an awesome shopping experience. And the best part is the private access to the beach. The beach is a short walk away and very beautiful. We were on the beach everyday and no matter what time of day it was, it was not crowed at all since it is a private beach. We plan on reserving this house every year. Thank you for the wonderful vacation and we are counting down the days till we come back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: I am an ocean-loving author, wife and mother of two who worked and waited for 32 years to acquire my own piece of paradise. I love to read, sing, hike, boat, dance, walk the beach, travel and discover new and interesting places. My kids are awesome and my husband is a hard-working, hard-playing challenge whose lots of fun. In April of 2012, my first children's book called 'Diamond Hero' was published. We have two horses named Mustard and Bella and a dog named Rex.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
I chose to buy a vacation rental in this area because of its proximity to everything including peace and quiet. It is in a quiet little neighborhood yet so close to City life and the greatest beach around; Siesta Key. Everything such as restaurants, shopping, major grocery store, and beaches are within walking distance and I love the small town feel to Venice. Everyone is smiling and helpful, what else could anyone want?
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The sunsets are wonderful at the private beach and quite often I will walk out my front door and spy an egret walking up my driveway - incredible. My neighbors are sweet and helpful and I love the fact that the pool is fenced in and screened so NO BUGS!
