Why the Owner Chose Edgewater
We looked up and down the gulf before we settled on Edgewater Beach resort. The reason was that unique building with its extra large unit sizes, full Gulf view from wall to wall sliding doors from each room and large balcony, and the resort-like property including the private beach, which is much larger/wider than most resorts.

After moving from Oslo, Norway several years ago, I started spending weekends and vacations in the Destin area. I found the beach, the water, the many national parks, and the general settings, to be spectacular and match the best vacations spots the world has to offer. My comparison includes places I have visited such as the French Rivera, Caribbean, Hawaii and the Norwegian coast line. The units I own (Edgewater 808/609 and Emerald Hills 23) have all undergone extensive and very high end renovations. My guests typically return year after year. You will not be disappointed.
