  At first impression this 2nd floor unit looks like it needs some updating - (rugs, window covering/shutters, tub/shower, drapes in the bedroom have holes in them and no space to put you dry food groceries). We also had to do some cleaning of night tables/dresser, sand in the dryer and hair in the bathroom. The early morning quail type bird -with louder than you think "sound" - is an early wake up that you get use to by the 3rd morning - followed by the arrival of workers - that you can tell are trying to be quiet as they start their day. Other than this, the bed was good and provided restful sleeps, the grounds are well looked after, the beach is close by and great for walking and swimming. Whales sightings were hourly, plenty of turtles to swim with along with multiple varieties of fish & sea creatures. So we give this stay 4/5 because the trip is mostly spent out of the unit and there was only 2 of us staying here. This could easily be a unit that gets a 5/5, if the few things that we noted above were dealt with (minus the workers). So overall would we stay here again? The short answer is yes but we would make sure that the owner of this unit knows ahead of time that the cleaning staff need more attention to detail and ask if they could provide a welcome basket that included supplies for the first mornings coffee.

  The owner of this condo was amazing and was very helpful and patient with all my questions and emails were answered promptly While this unit appears to be a little older, it was very clean and well maintained. The unit has high ceilings and lots of room for our 9 1/2 month old baby to crawl around. Our bedroom was big enough to fit a crib with lots of space left to walk around. The lanai has amazing views of the ocean and the condo garden grounds. The soothing sound of the ocean can be heard throughout the condo. The kitchen was equipped for you to cook just about anything. The pictures shown on this site does not do the unit justice. This unit was about a 5 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Maui, Keawakapu Beach. I saw a turtle everyday I snorkeled out on the beach. There is a decent sized reef area that has lots of different fish and corals. The sand was amazing and the beach was never too crowded. The unit is also close to a quiet pool (1 minute walk) and two other pools (about 5 minutes away). The unit is also a quick drive (5 minutes) or a 20 minute walk to some of the best restaurants Maui (Five Palms, Capische, etc) has to offer and a great shopping center where you can find ABC stores or Whalers General Store and more causal restaurants such as Tommy Bahamas, Cheeseburger Paradise, etc. Amazing sunrise and even better sunsets, I didn't want to leave!!!!! Thank you so much for making our first Christmas on Maui as a family a fantastic one!!!!!! Mahalo!!!

  the condo was everything my new wife and i were hoping for on our honey moon. comfy beds, spacious living room, 3 min walk to beach and lower pool, all the beach gear one could want (snorkle sets, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards). I w as a little confused on how to "check in" at first since there is no check in process. onces you arrive you head straight to the condo. would recomend to friends and family and will definitly be coming back
