Hi Robin/Rosmarie My Brother ,Lamar , visited us this past weekend en route to his Colorado property where he is building a cabin. As is the case when family gets together ,we reminisced about "old times " and adventures. The subject of our Lake Tahoe trips came up and we had a most wonderful time recalling the days/nights spent at Smuggler's Cove and Stonehenge. The likelihood of our ever returning as a family unit is slim but I just wanted you to know that the times at your amazing homes and your personal warmth and hospitality are among the best our family has ever experienced . I know it may sound strange, but there is something almost magical or spiritual about our vacations experiences we had there. Maybe its a combination of the beauty of the place ,the fact that family is "together" with much laughter, relaxation and adventure all melding together. In any case ,many thanks for you just being who you are and providing the service and caring that you do. Peace and Blessings, Geoff MRecommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Dear Geoff, It has taken us a little time to respond to your review because, quite honestly, we get teary-eyed every time we read it. Your kind words have touched our hearts and have made us count our blessing for being able to open our homes for folks like you. We sincerely hope you and your family can find your way back someday.

I had the pleasure of staying a Smuggler's Cove with my husband over the 4th of July. The home was awesome. We really enjoyed the patio, the views and location to the lake. All of the owners touches made it such a memorable week. We boated, biked, hiked, cooked and drank wine to our hearts content. We had friends over, Smuggler's Cove is an entertainers dream. We are already planning next year's stay.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you. So glad you enjoyed your stay. Hurry back!!

It was such a thrill to find such a unique property to enjoy my vacation with my family. The property was beautifully presented by the owner. Each level of the home provided such a warm and inviting environment to enjoy. My kids loved the pool table and all the latest TV's. They are still talking about how cool Smuggler' s Cove was. My wife loved the open kitchen and did I mentioned the views WOW ! ! Yes the listing photos truly reflected the unique features this house has to offer. The Tahoe Keys was the perfect location for us to enjoy all the attractions that South Lake Tahoe has to offer. I have no hesitation in recommending this vacation property to my friends but really just want to get back there myself.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you for your kind words. I do hope you will return again someday. Best
