We just returned home after a 7-night stay at Smith's Mountain Hideaway. I must say that I was totally satisfied with our stay. I can't and wouldn't say anything negative about it. The "big box" cabin rentals talk so much about amenities and views, but we found everything that we could possibly want in this rental. It is truly a beautiful place. Very well kept. From the view on the front porch with the rockers and swing to the hot tub out back, we enjoyed every minute that we had. Departing was bittersweet. Our children had made friends with the Smith's grandchildren and pets. It was definitely a "home away from home". We look forward to a return trip sometime in the future. Trust me. You can't go wrong if you choose these accomodations for your Smoky Mountain get-away.

You could not ask for nicer people.We stayed for our anniversary ,It was perfect.The hot tub was nice.The fact that we could bring our pets was great.Didnt have no worries just carefree.Really clean and ready for your stay.Also a few things you have probably forgot.Sit on the front porch and the mountain senery is beautiful.Faith we had a wondrful time and have recommended you to friends.We will make it back soon i hope. Thanks for the relaxation that was very much needed.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! The accomodations were clean, comfortable and had everything you need plus a few things you might have forgotten. The view was beautiful and the rockers on the porch relaxing. The kids loved the hottub.Thanks for everything Faith!

We stayed for 3 nights 4 days at the Smiths cabin in March of 2007. It was our 20th anniversay. It was wonderful! The weather was perfect (not that the Smiths could contol that) the cabin was very cozy, clean, and inviting. The hot tub is a perfect way to unwind and just enjoy the company. There is a grill provided, which we took advantage of also.Stop at the store in Townsend on your way up, buy your meals, then go to the cabin, escape the world and enjoy the beauty around you. You never want to leave. The Smiths are WONDERFUL! They maintain the property well and add some flowers and bushes to give it a personal touch. If you go there, I can garentee, you will NOT regret it! Thanks Faith and Robert! We'll be back.

As we sit here our last night listening to the rain, I'm sad to go. It has been a great three days! Even in the rain we had a great time, horseback riding, hiking, driving through Cades Cove and Dollywood. Your Cabin is so great and cozy and we will be sure to pass it on to our friends who come here. It was so great to have a washer& dryer, especially since our clothes got a little wet-but it was still great fun. My Mother and Grandaughter loved the Hot Tub. We wish you well with your new cabins and hopefully we will be back soon.

What a wonderful cabin. The photos on the internet do not do it justice, so clean, so warm. The space is perfect! The porch is awesome! The beds comfortable! You thought of everything for kitchen and bathroom! Providing coffee is great! The washer& dryer were a definite plus. I'm taking home much less dirty laundry. Next time we'll pack fewer clothes! All we can say is -- the information on the website does NOT do this cabin justice. It was absolutely perfect. The cabin is well furnished -- from the kitchen to the washer/dryer/laundry soap. The hot tub was great as well. So many little extras are provided in this cabin that we have not found in other homes/cabins we have rented. Coffee and coffee filters provided, about nine different spices to cook with along with all the dishes, pitchers, pots/pans and utensils you could want. A television with lots of channels in every room! Our kids loved this! Truly this is a great value both in terms of space, amenities and dollar value. That is the cabin itself. You should see the view from the front porch! Awesome! A porch swing and 4 rocking chairs! The cabins are at the end of a road, so it is quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this cabin. There were 5 of us. The cabin accomodated us well.

We loved our visit here! The hospitality of the Smith's made us feel right at home. We are just country folks & enjoyed being out and away from the city life. We spent time doing lots of sightseeing,but were fortunate to come to our "Mountain Home" as the kids came to call it. Our 3 year old fell in love with the Smith's local wildlife, the cats & dogs,mainly Susie-the Dachsund. It was so nice to have a clean comfortable place to come to after a long day out. We enjoyed all the amenities & were thrilled to find nothing we needed that wasn't available. We'll tell all our friends & hopefully we'll come back here in the future.

We had a wonderful time. We visited many places, waterfalls, Mountains, saw deer,The Beautiful State Park, in addition to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We also rode horses, something my husband hasn't done for more than 30 years. The Cabin was terrific to return to each day. Everything was very "homey" and comfortable to return to each day, all the comfort of home, even spices in the cupboard. Thanks for a Great Visit to the Mountains.

We had a great time! The view is awesome. Didn't spend a lot of time in the Cabin,to much to do around "town". We went tubing down the road what a blast so relaxing. The Comedy Barn, you have to see that, we laughed so hard we cryed, Great Show! Bennetts for dinner very good. We had a wonderful trip.
