Rustic Acres was the estate of Henry Wright back in the 1930's, the main house was copied after Will Rogers House i Oklahoma. Each of the three cabins still use their original names to this day. Guest House, Play House, and the Kozy Kottage. Rustic Acres is located in the heart of northern Wisconsin's 'Lake Rich' region. With frontage on Deer Lake, Rustic Acres offers access to the world's largest inland Chain of Lakes (28 in all).
Surrounded by four acres of beautiful pines, Rustic Acres features a scenic winding lane, a wide open front lawn, and 200+ feet of lake frontage.The well-kept grounds are ideal for lawn games or relaxing in the sun.
A large screen house at the lakeshore offers an excellent place to rest in the outdoors and view lake activities away from direct
sunlight and bugs, or have a larger group meal together
Picnic table, grill, fireplace, campfire pit and large lounge chairs
are all located on the grounds. With the screened-in area it is a
great place for a cookout.
We are located only 6 miles from Three Lakes, 2 miles from a 9-hole golf course, and a short distance from the Nicolet National
Forest, where there are many hiking trails, and within easy driving
distance of many popular North Woods attractions.
There is a sandy beach where the lake offers a gradual slope to deep water making it a nice place for swimming. The upper floor of a two-story wet boathouse provides a recreation area over looking the lake to the north,west,and south. It is an ideal place to play games, read, or just relax in complete comfort.
The Guest House is the two-story cabin it has 3 bedroom and sleeps 6. It has a full bath. Two of the bedrooms have views of the lake.The interior is finished in maple and has a fireplace. There is a nicely equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes. A large deck off the front offers a nice area to eat meals or simply to sit and view the lake. Kozy Kottage sleeps a max of 6 is the 2 bedroom with shower in the bath. The cabin sits by itself behind the main house in a quite setting. The Playhouse sleeps 4 it has 1 BDRM and hide-a-bed. it has a large deck facing the lake and is shaded by tall trees. PETS ARE WELCOME!!
All bedding and bed linens are furnished. Guests are asked to bring their own towels. A 14-foot aluminum row boat is furnished for you to use.
There is plenty of space for docking your boat. Public boat landings are nearby, or if you prefer, a full-service marina on the next lake has excellent launching facilities.
