  This CUTE cottage was wonderful to stay at. The house was a perfect location to hang out and relax. We had the options of enjoying a beautiful sunrise/sunset on the back deck overlooking the bay (catching crabs at night) or during the day walking a SHORT DISTANCE to/from the beach. Dauphin Island was a great family environment to vacation too! Owner had great communication with us before/during the stay and even had helpful advice about where to eat and purchase groceries from. We would live to visit again in the future!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  We visited Dauphin Island for the first time this summer on June 23-30 and could not have asked for a better family atmosphere. You went above and beyond to make our vacation comfortable, despite Tropical Storm Debbie's efforts. Thankfully Debbie turned East away from our vacation and the weather was beautiful. Thank you and I hope we get a chance to visit Dauphin Island again and make our way back to Nonnie's Place. God Bless!

  The home was wonderful. It was clean and roomy and we felt right at home. We really enjoyed the island and its beauty. It was quiet and peaceful. We went fishing and walked for miles and miles on the beaches. Nonnie's Place was perfectly located for us. On the quiet bay side the wind was blocked and it was only a short walk across the street to the beautiful gulf. We were two adults and four children ranging in ages from 17 to 9 and we all had a absolutely wonderful time. We hope to be returning soon!! Thank you so much!

  Thanks so much for sharing your beach home with us! We had four adults and five kids and had plenty of room. The Mississippi Sound was a nice calm place for the kids to relax on a raft , especially when the gulf water became choppy from storms elsewhere. The home was stocked with everything we needed (and more). We had a great first visit to Dauphin Island. Thanks so much.

  Thank you and your family for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful time on Dauphin Island. This was our first time and surely not our last. Fishing, crabbing, swimming p fun had by all in the bay and gulf.

  My whole family and I enjoyed our stay at Nonnie's Place in August 2011. It was so very nice to enjoy the view of both sunrise and sunset from the deck but yet be only a few steps from the gulf as well. There is something for everyone to enjoy!

  Owner response: Sunsets and sunrises indeed! Safe, relaxing, environment for children, elderly, and everyone in between. Calm, relatively shallow waters of the Mississippi Sound immediately in front of the house and gulf beach excitement just steps away.
