My husband, myself and our ten year old son rented this flat at the end of April. We loved it, and the place is so convenient to everything. We were able to walk to the Vatican, Colosseum, Pantheon, and all the major piazzas/sites. The flat was better than it's description and we hated leaving. I want to thank Emanuele and the owners, they were so welcoming and helpful! What a fantastic place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Ripetta House was one of the highlights of our family's (husband, wife, 18 year old son and 14 year old daughter) month long trip to Europe. It was spacious, clean with all the amenities possible. Lucca, the owner of the property was accommodating and very helpful. It felt like we had stepped into Roman high society in another era. Its location was perfect with easy access to many Rome attractions, right around the corner from the famous Borghese Gardens and across the road from the Tiber River. Raphael, the doorman, was delightful, your could order your breakfast from him the night before and have it delivered in the morning. Can't say enough about this property.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The apartment was nice. The description was accurate with the exception of the elevator. The apartment is on the 1st floor, however, in Europe the ground floor is floor 0! The elevator was so small it only allowed for 1 person at a time. The apartment is up roughly 30 steps. Rome was super hot the weekend we were there and the living room air conditioner worked well, however you had to turn it off if you used the washing machine. This allowed for a warm apartment. The bedrooms were nice and bathrooms were quirky.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

an amazing apartments. quiet and clean with two large en suite bedrooms and a huge leaving room that actually served as another room and a place for the whole family to be. we were 2 adults with 4 kids (12 - 5) and loved every minute. everything in central Rome is minutes away and there are great restaurants around. Emanuele was so kind and helpful even more than usual italians. definitely our no. 1 sleeping experience in Rome. can't wait to come back. ciao.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We found Ripetta house to be a nice apartment in Rome. Centrally located and easy walking to all the main sites and transit. Apartment itself was average: clean, quiet and spacious but basic. Tons of closet/storage space. We had problems getting the hot water going and stove was tricky to light. Beds were firm but ok. Kitchen was stocked with all cooking/eating utensils you could want but no soap to do dishes. Owner was great, helpful and friendly.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children.
Owner response: Following your report, the property has immediately changed the hot-water heater that is now brand-new and perfectly working. We are really sorry for this inconvenience and hope to have you as our guests again in the future. Warm regards, Chiara and Emanuele

The apartment is in a classic early 20th century courtyard building. The owner of the apartment lives in the building and is extremely helpful. The apartment itself is very spacious, comfortable, and has all of the amenities travelers might need. Furthermore, the location simply cannot be beaten: the neighborhood is mostly residential but is close to many cafes and shops, it is far enough away from the throngs of tourists at the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc. yet still walking distance to them, is a short walk to the metro, and is right on the Tiber river. We would absolutely stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
