We had a ladies' weekend at this house. This house exceeded our expectations! It sleeps 10 very comfortably and there is really room to spare with all the seating areas and very large decks. The bathrooms and closets are big. I won't repeat all the things from the other reviews which are all true. What they don't tell you is that there is tons of storage space in this house. The laundry room off the kitchen is huge and accommodated many coolers, extra drinks, etc and has a full size washer and dryer plus a big sink. The lower level has plenty of room to store beach toys, etc. There is an outdoor shower enclosed in a wooden structure. The beach is very easy to get to and seemed closer than the pictures showed. The house sits higher than most of the surrounding houses and really has a nice view from the super large decks. Some notes about handicapped access: We did have someone in a wheelchair and you might want to know that the elevator was too small for her wheelchair so if your handicapped person can't stand up you may want to get the measurements for the elevator. Also, the decks off the main floor have steps going down from all the doors so the wheelchair could not get to the main decks. There is plenty of nice decking with two wooden swings on the very lower level where the cars are and a wheelchair can easily get there. There is a bedroom on the main level that worked well for the handicapped person, The bathroom was large and easy to get the wheelchair in. However, there was not a shower in that bath- only a tub with spray head. There is another shower on the main floor in another bath which is easy to walk in to but not push the wheelchair directly into. Overall this house is wonderful and I hope to rent it again in the future!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

The best feature of this home is the beautiful panoramic view from anywhere on the first floor. BR's are all comfortable. House is very nicely appointed and there is very little to improve. Right on the beach with easy access, great decks to enjoy the view. The owners admin was very helpful in making the arrangements. Hope to come back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

My family and I had a great time at the house. It was clean and in great condition. The location is great and the beach is wonderful. An added bonus is the communication with the owner. His assistant was on top of it from the beginning and we had great communication throughout. I would recommend this property to anyone. 5 Stars!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Wastin away was the perfect place for my daughter's wedding. We enjoyed a wedding on the beach with a beautiful sunset. We had the reception in the garage area, it couldn't have been more perfect. It was very clean and well maintained. Each room of the house was decorated so cute. The elevator was a great help for several people that were unable to climb the stairs. I would absolutely recommend this property.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

This was the perfect location, with the perfect view of the gulf. It is the largest house on the beach and feels like a castle when staying and enjoying all the amenities, luxurious furnishings and comfort in every area of the house. I felt like the remote location in this beautiful house was well worth the stay and money. This house has several creature comforts and is fully equipped to live life as a prince or princess directly on the beach. We saw beautiful dolphins every morning while sipping coffee from the enormous upper deck in the numerous Adirondack chairs everywhere. I felt like we were at a resort of our own. The house has such beautiful art, decorations, and dishes, which all make the stay feel even more like home. I seriously did not want to leave and I do hope to revisit this house again. To also be able to enjoy the short stroll to the very secluded beach was a joy with small children. Every thing was super convenient and easy every day of our stay. Thanks to "Wastin Away "because I felt amazing after our awesome vacation at this home. I highly recommend this home as it is truly paradise in a very authentic, remote and relaxing area of Mexico Beach.!! Wish this house was all mine to be honest, I love the beach and this was perfect. Everything was super accurate with this house with listing description and photos, it exceeded our expectations. The house was very clean and ready to go. I would recommend this house to others for sure. We did like to eat at Killer Seafood in Mexico Beach and Joe Mama Wood Fired Pizza in Port St. Joe. Indian Pass Oyster Bar was very fresh and yummy too.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
