  We stayed at the bungalows for our honeymoon and had a blissful time. It was easy to find and access, the view from the deck is beautiful, it's clean and the wifi is strong and fast. We'll certainly come back.

  We absolutely loved our time in the Tiki Bungalow. Arish was great, greeting us as we arrived and making sure everything was set for our visit, and always available with questions. The king bed is really comfortable, and the futon was perfect for our son - there is just enough room for a small family. But the best part of the bungalow is the lanai... we never wanted to leave. We ate breakfast every morning while watching the paddle boarders, and grilled our dinner every night and watched the surfers. The sound of the waves while we were falling asleep was great. The lagoon is perfect for little kids, fun things to explore in the rocks, and just enough room for skim boarding. The kayaks provided were great as well, and the outdoor shower really came in handy. We enjoyed meeting the other family that was in the "big house" and having someone to have a drink with in the evening at the lagoon deck as well. There isn't a lot right around the house (which makes it nice) but we were close enough to the shrimp trucks to eat there a few times, and the grocery stores are only 10 minutes away. Tante's is really good and serves up the best cake while you are waiting. This place is paradise. We are already re-working our plans for our trip next year to include a stay at the Tiki Bungalow, and we weren't even planning on coming to Oahu. We are trying to organize enough people to rent all three (Blue Surf, Tiki, and the Big House) so we can really make it a great week. Thank you, Arish, for sharing your beautiful property with us!

  We were thrilled with our stay in the Tiki Bungalow. You can not beat the location, right on the beach and very secure gated property, It is a close drive to many attractions and beaches. Great places to eat close by. Totally recommend the Poi Factory and Giovannie's Shrimp Truck. Also grocery stores near by if you want to eat in or hit one of the Costco's on the drive to property. We ate many meals on the great deck , watching surfers, and just relaxing. Loved the Lagoon, and a huge bonus having use of the kayaks,paddle board and other water toys. Thank you Arish for making our stay one we will not forget. Have recommended the property to many family and friends.

  The Tiki Bungalow was a little bit of heaven. A beautifully appointed space perfect for a romantic getaway. Thoughtful details throughout the bungalow made our stay so relaxing. We loved sleeping 20 feet from the ocean, being able to cook meals and eat on the oceanside deck and walking the beaches on either side of the compound.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

  This was our second visit to the Blue Surf bungalow in less than a year, and it was even better than the first. We loved waking up in the morning and watching the sunrise from our private deck while having a good morning cup of coffee. The views are wonderful, and the privacy and seclusion can't be beat. The room is clean and well maintained, and Arish is always a phone call away to answer any questions. Another plus is the free use of their private kayaks and snorkel gear. This property is a true find, and we will definitely be back for a third visit.

  We loved staying here -- the constant ocean sounds of the waves breaking was incredibly relaxing. We feel asleep so easily every night! The location was phenomenal -- very secluded and close to fabulous beaches. We loved that the house had boogie boards, snorkeling gear, and other recreation toys (kayaks!) for us to use. This made it super easy to have fun! The lagoon was so beautiful. We spent many mornings drinking coffee on the deck watching the sand crabs and surfers. And then we spent many afternoons drinking margaritas on the deck, too... Arish was super helpful. We had no problems at all, and we really enjoyed getting a change to meet and chat with her our last day there. She made our stay super easy. Everything was there! We bought food from the local safeway and cooked in the well stocked kitchen, which saved us a ton of money.

  We stayed in the Blue Surf Bungalow for 3 nights and were very impressed. It was clean and the view was beautiful! We loved the ocean view, sunrises and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean. Arish was super helpful with any questions we had. The private property was a nice change from the busy streets and sounds of Honolulu and Waikiki. The lagoon was awesome and loved doing some swimming and snorkeling. Would definitely recommend this place to others!! Thanks for an awesome stay!

  We stayed in both of the studio rooms during the course of our stay, We loved the gated property and the fact that it was right on the ocean. Spent many days just lounging in the hammock and/ or on the deck. Kayaking and snorkeling right out the door. We had not been to the Islands in 12 years and were looking for something peaceful and away from the bustle of Honolulu, the windward side and the North Shore are our favorite spots. Kualoa ranch is right up the road and there are many fabulous beach parks should you choose to leave the property. We never made it to Uncle Bobo's but have heard it is good, we did have a drink at the Crounching Lion while listening to some slack key. Our whole stay was great, we were even treated to an amazing lighting show right out over the ocean. Property was just as listed, photos were accurate, very clean.

  We stayed at the studio for one week. The location was great, you can hear the ocean as it 10 feet from the sliding glass door! Really puts you to sleep at night. Easy to find and get into as you don't need a key just a combination door lock. The only negatives we had were there was no place inside to sit down to eat other than the bed. It is a studio, but a small table right as you come in the door on the left would probably work. Also the microwave start button didn't work so you had to hit quick minute the stop it, but then the reset button didn't work either so you have to unplug it and start over. Easy fix so no big deal. There was also a problem with small bugs all over the kitchen and bathroom. Nothing an exterminator can't fix. Overall it's a bargain place to stay with a great view!

I wish you would have brought it to my attention so I could have gotten you another one. The bamboo tiki as of today has a new one. I am sorry for the trouble it caused you. As for table in the studio,we feel there is no room for it and it would make it too crowded. There is a large table out side under the covered deck that works well for our past guests..maybe if we get more guests to feel the same way we will look into it further. At this time you have been the only one to make this comment...We do have an exterminator that comes out to this property once a month. We are also in the tropics so you may still see a bug here or there. As always I am greatful for all comments and your time it takes to write one. We hope to have you back again!

  Arrived crazy late on 3 March to Hawaii, but when I arrived at the bungalow, it was exactly what I was hoping for. The listing is completely accurate...amazing location, beautiful and clean bungalow, and lovely reception by Arish (via phone as it was so late). My stay at this property was relaxing, and really...if I didn't want to see the rest of the island, I wouldn't have left the property...as it was inclusive of everything I wanted (relaxation, snorkling, view, comfort). I would, without question, recommend this bungalow to anyone who wants to stay in a lovely and safe place. I had the best time exploring the island, and felt comfort knowing that after all my daily adventures, I had a fantastic place to go home to. It is convenient to any number of places of interest, and a quick drive will take you to all parts of the island. Thank you, Arish, for sharing your bungalow with me. If I am to return to Hawaii, you can bet that I will be returning to the Ka Lae Hale bungalows.
