Quiet waterfront location with a large private waterfront with small sandy beach area and large private dock with swim ladder. Two canoes, and life jackets, are provided to explore Maine's premier lake for swimming, fishing, and boating. Located only 40 minutes from Portland and Freeport (home of L.L. Bean), and 1 hour to New Hampshire's White Mountains. The location is so beautiful most visitors wdon't leave the house.

This past summer was our second time staying at Blueberry Point- we just reserved for 2009 The house is in imaculate condition- very clean. We like the screen porch for reading in the evenings or for the kids playing board games. We have stayed at other places without a screen porch and would never go back. The waterfront has water on three sides and the water is crystal clear... great for swimming, fishing, and boating. The family room is a great bonus.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We have been very fortunate to have several guests come back every season- it becomes their house without the issues of taxes or mortgage.

spectacular view from deck,beautifully landscaped,I was able to walk down by the water and deck even with my arthritis condition (not a steep incline) They had everything you could need for a good vacation!Lots of wild blueberry bushes-very pretty.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities.
