We were up for a quick getaway and this was the PERFECT place. Myself, my husband and our 6-month old son all fit perfect in this little condo. It was so clean and had everything you could need. The deck is a great size for enjoying the views and relaxing after a long day. Although its small it does the job, especially were we only planned on being there for meals from time to time and sleeping. The personal touches of the breakfast foods and the small gift for my husband's birthday is something you can't get at a typical hotel. We will be coming back for sure!! Hopefully for a longer stay this time too. Thank you for making our visit back to Vermont so great!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

My family and I skied Burke Mountain for three days during school vacation week and were fortunate to have found this condo available. Since I didnt book months prior to arrival, I was not expecting to find anything either up to my standards or within my price range. But Jess and Rick's condo was quite affordable and far surpassed our expectations. Beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, this space was perfect for our ski vacation. Located just off the main mountain, the lift was just a short ski down a connector trail though the woods. Not once did we have to enter the lodge at the ski area as we could ski back to the condo for lunch. Although small, the room was more than enough space for my family of four and offered all that we needed for meals and entertainment. Owners were great to deal with and the kids were really excited about the goodie bags upon arrival, as we were surprised with the breakfast-stocked fridge. Thanks Jess and Rick. Great skiing- great condo- great price! We will definitely be back next winter.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We had a great time in this condo! We were welcomed with fresh local eggs, orange juice and all ingredients for several special breakfasts. What a treat! The condo was meticulously clean and well stocked. The bed was comfortable and everything is exactly as pictured. We look forward to our next visit there!Did you find this review helpful? My husband and I took a long weekend to mountain bike at Kingdom Trails and were fortunate to find this condo available. The property was beautifully decorated and felt like home the minute we walked in the door. Set up like a studio apartment, the condo is the perfect size for a couples get away. There is one large room with a queen bed facing a flat screen TV, a sitting area with two chairs, a kitchenette with all the necessities, and a nicely sized bathroom. The rooms were exceptionally clean. Jess and Rick also left us a dozen eggs, sausage, orange juice and coffee cake for breakfast. The property was located just past the entrance of Burke Mountain Ski Resort--a five minute drive to down-town. Except for the first night, we were the only occupants of the six unit building, so it was very quiet. I can't say that would be the case at full occupancy. We would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We just loved our stay. Everything was as expected...and even better. The condo was very clean, quiet and cozy. The welcome gift was very appreciated! We already stayed in others Sprucewoods units but this one is a notch above all others. When we'll return to Kingdom Trails we will stay there again for sure. Highly recommended! Condo looked great from photos but we were PLEASANTLY surprised to discover that the unit was far nicer than the photos communicated! So nice to rent a place with new furnishings of contemporary styling. Really loved the decor and little touches. The entire unit was SPOTLESS, every nook and cranny. To top it off, we totally appreciated and enjoyed the treats left for us -- organic eggs, sausage and homemade bread. Owner was great to deal with -- very fast and clear communication. We will definitely return! Thank you!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

This was a perfect condo tucked away in the mountains. It was actually much bigger than we thought it would be. Nice full bathroom, and the kitchen had every appliance you need. The deck was a great place to sit and have your morning coffee. The property was very clean and cozy and the owners left so many little personal touches around (my girlfriend loved the pumpkin bread). The owners put a lot of effort into showing they appreciated us staying there. I would absolutely recommend this property to friends and family.Did you find this review helpful? Stayed this past wknd with my wife at this great condo on Burke Mtn. Everything was really well appointed, super clean, and very inviting. This condo is perfect for a couples trip away at one of the hidden gems of New England skiing. Jess and Rick even surprised us with eggs, sausage, coffee, bananas, and orange juice. Everything we needed to make breakfast both days. Really nice touch and much appreciated. The location is great as well. We skied down to the base lodge Sat AM. A little confusing finding which way the trail started at but no problems once we got on it. I can imagine in a normal snow year and mid winter it would work even better. We loved this condo and highly reccomend it to anyone. We ski all over New England and do rentals quite a bit and this was by far the nicest place we have stayed at during our ski trips!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My boyfriend and I rented the condo for 3 nights in August to celebrate his birthday by riding the Kingdom Trails. The location of the condo couldn't be better for both mountain biking and skiing. If you want to reference the location on the Kingdom Trails map, the condo is at the start of the toll road, close to the Burke Mountain Campground. There is only a toll for cars, in case you are wondering. Inside the condo is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well stocked, as previous reviewers mentioned. Like grated zucchini in your omelette? You can have it, because the owners even thought to have a grater in the kitchen. Wanna crack some walnuts? You can do that to with the nutcracker! There is also a sweet little deck and grill. Oh, and the bed is super comfy and the sheets are super soft. The town of East Burke is cute. There are a couple of restaurants - we ate at Willys one night (very good) and a great Thai place in Littleton, NH (Changs - 30 minutes away). Breakfasts we cooked at the condo and the first two were complements of the owners which was a very sweet touch. My boyfriend especially appreciated his two birthday beers left in the fridge! I would highly recommend this condo for a great getaway. You won't be disappointed.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We recently spent 2 days at Jessica and Rick's condo. It is perfect for a couple. The unit is pristine, bright, and roomy for a studio. It is furnished tastefully and the kitchen includes all the equipment needed to cook full meals, which we did. An added touch, which I've never experienced before, is that they provided everything for a full breakfast, including homemade muffins, ham, eggs, OJ. There is a lovely view from the balcony and you'd enjoy a stay here winter or summer.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in the condo over Presidents Day weekend. It is very well-appointed and cozy -- one of the nicest condos we've stayed in. The bed, linens and towels were really comfortable. We also used the trundle bed and one air mattress, which were very easy and convenient. The owners were great to rent from and left us a welcome basket with homemade banana bread, fruit, juice and other items, plus welcome bags with snacks and activities for our kids (they loved this!). The ski path to the base was farther than expected, so we ended up driving much of the time. It would probably be fine without young kids. Overall a great experience!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We rented this studio for 3 nights which allowed us to ski some of the best mountains on the East Coast. The apartment was cozy allowing us to sleep well at night. Jess responded very quickly to our concerns and inquiry about local restaurants which had great food. We recommend this flat to whomever is looking for a relaxing getaway.
