  This is a perfectly beautiful house and we had the most wonderful week! The house has both front and back decks with plenty of seating for our group (six adults, two babies), a wonderful pool, and fabulous indoor spaces for the whole group and/or for private moments, too. It is furnished beautifully and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen is huge, the screened porch just wonderful, and it was as clean and inviting as it was spacious, The bedrooms easily accommodated portable cribs and had excellent storage and closets, the bathrooms are extremely large, and the washer and dryer are a definite plus. It is in easy walking distance to a great little center for post office, ice cream, pizza - and easy driving distance to both the bay and ocean beaches and other locations. A trip to P-town was easily accomplished, as well as to Chatham and other spots of interest. Communication from and with the owners was amazing, inclusive of helpful tips and clear requests for care and use of the house. It was our best rental experience ever and we definitely want to return next summer. A huge thank you to the Nix's for a totally amazing vacation!

  This property far exceeded our expectations! We considered getting a hotel for our stay, but so glad we didn't. The house is a clean, quiet, semi-secluded home with a great view. It's very well appointed, equipped and maintained; better than advertised. We felt at home immediately. After a sound and relaxing sleep, mornings on the deck with a coffee, book, birds and beautiful grounds were just the beginning. Never having visited the Cape before, its' central location afforded us flexibility in experiencing the wonders of the area...and there are many. The Mac Shack is a must for sushi! The local beaches were fantastic and sunsets at Skaget were unbelievable. The girls really enjoyed discovering the critters at low tide. Nearby Nauset Beach is splendid. Went whale watching out of P-town and were awe-struck by these amazing creatures. Our hosts were very accommodating, responsive and warm. Thanks so much for opening your home to us. We have great memories and unconditionally recommend this peaceful, reasonable rental home.

  We had a great time during our stay, in spite of the cold & rain! The view is beautiful, the location is perfect, and there was so much to do. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, (love the ice cream scoop). The house was clean and well cared for. My only regret is that we went to early in the season and weren't able to use the pool, or sit outside and enjoy the view. We would love to go back and stay. I have used VRBO a few times in the past and I have to say this was probably the easiest transaction I ever had with them. Peter has a great routine for signing the contract, getting/returning the keys and returning the security deposit! Thanks for everything. We hope to return soon, (in the summer this time).

  We're still glowing from our relaxing stay in East Orleans! The beauty and privacy of the property exceeded all our expectations. We loved waking up to breakfast on the front porch overlooking the pond, and enjoying Cape Cod's fresh seafood on the backyard poolside grill. We even took advantage of the ping pong table, which was home to some very competitive matches! While we drove to the beach, it was a 2 minute walk to Nauset Farms for amazing muffins & coffee in the morning, and shrimp cocktail in the afternoon. Thank you Peter for a memorable weekend on the Cape! Amanda, Greg, Susan, Joe, Paige & Brad

  It was a very pleasant experience for my family and I as we did not know what to expect on our first try. The home and the setting were just fabulours. The owner must have lost sleep to make certain that everything was werell prepared and in excellent condition. All minutes details were given ahead of time and there was absolutely nothing more that we could have requested. We appreciated the effort alnd the only regret was that we did not have enough time to enjoy the house , the vacilities and the scenery. My sincere thanks and complements to the owner Peter. Much appreciated.
