We had a wonderful stay at your home! I don't know how you did it but there was so much packed into this home than was expected. Your pool design was awesome, steps, seating on both ends grading down to a deeper end. Landscaping & bright cherry fencing were very pleasant and we got great use from the gas grill. The extended living room space downstairs gave our 21month old the space she needed to run around and she loved playing on the little sliding board. The open layout on the top floor allowed us to have 10 adt'l family members over for buffet dinner with the overflow to the lanai/fenced in porch and open front porch. The sleeping arrangements couldn't have worked better for us, we slept in the queen room and across from us in the twin bedroom we were able to fit a full-sized rented crib which still left plenty of space to move around. Our sister & hubby slept in the king master bedroom. We enjoyed the decorating & cheerfully painted chairs in the dining room and also the comfortable seating in the tv room area. Congrats on your first year of rental, I'm sure you will have many many more great reviews to come!!!Recommended for: Families with young children.

We would like to say thank you to Jim and his Family for letting us rent their home. This home was in a perfect location and was near everything. The neighborhood was very quiet and the house felt like home. We spent many hours in the pool and enjoyed quiet evenings on the screened in porch. We would highly recommend this house to rent. We will be back:)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

The house was exactly as pictured. Everything was clean and comfortable. Excellent location, will probably stay again next year. Jim was very efficient and pleasant to work with.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I just spent the week in this house with our daughter, her 11 yr. old daughter and another 11 yr. old granddaughter. The girls loved the house, the pool and their bedroom which they shared. We cooked a lot and usually ate one meal out a day and and did some short one day activities, ex North Carolina Aquarium, beaches, Jockey State Park," The Lost Colony" drama and also some shopping and had a wonderful time. We really liked the location, it was very quiet but close to every place we needed to go. Jim is a great landlord and explained everything ahead of time to us and even stopped by to help get the WiFi going for us. The pictures do not do the house justice. It is very roomy and comfortable, it is well taken care of and you can see by the pictures that Jim and his wife have done a lot of work on it. It is the nicest house in the neighborhood as far as curb appeal. We love going to OBX and look forward to going back next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Stayed Jan 2012 - This is a great house! Clean and well-maintained w/loads of sunlight. Love that it is tucked back away from busy roads so the kids could go outside w/o me worrying about cars zipping past. We didn't use the pool since we were there in winter but plan to visit again in summer - backyard is totally private, which is nice. Plenty of parking for multiple cars is also a plus.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

With tons of upgrades over the fall and winter this house is a 1/4 mile off of the bypass and it is very quiet back on Fourth st near the sound. The stars are great at night out on the front porch in the adirondack chairs, and the breeze on the screened in side porch is unmatched. Don't miss this one for some great R&R.
