  This is the absolute perfect location to stay in South Beach. Everything is walkable, its a block (and a short block at that..like a few steps) to Starbucks and the beach. The Marriott behind Starbucks has chair rentals with waiter service and they are awesome. One of the best parts is if you don't want to be RIGHT in the middle of all the noise, but right next to it, perfect location. It is also a few steps from bike rentals, a block away from Big Pink restaurant and if you rented a car, its literally two blocks from where you jump on the causeway to get to downtown Miami. Really great location. Also Deanna, the property manager is fantastic! She was available all the time, whenever we had questions and was very quickly responsive. Really great on check in and even extended out check out when we asked. The place itself is clean, perfect for two adults who want a relaxing vacation or even 4 20-somethings who want to party since there is a futon in there along with the bed. Shower was great, having the full mirror in the bathroom was nice and we used the kitchen constantly. It was really nice to have the normal stuff we have at home, available to us there, so we didn't have to eat out all the time. We even brought a cooler bag from home and were able to tote a bunch of stuff to the beach so we didn't have to buy all our drinks. (Although I did enjoy some coconut mojiots from the waiter at the Marriott!) Only thing that surprised me was that none of the normal things like toilet paper, paper towels, etc were included. So while we expected to go shopping the second day we were there, we had to run out right away to get some normal supplies. I guess if I had known ahead of time, I probably would have packed some. (And maybe I just missed that on the description, so could be my fault.) But other places I have rented from homeaway had all of this, so I just wasn't prepared. Oh and having to rent a parking space...while I see the point since there are so few spots, just seemed like overkill on fees. It would have been nice if it was included. And the only other thing is the building's staff is a little odd. They sort of disappear and don't want to be seen....and when we extended our check out, instead of knocking first, they almost walked in on us (just by unlocking the door) while we were getting in the shower!! Fortunately I caught the door before they came in!

  Great location and the check-in process was awesome. It's keyless entry so you dont have to worry about carrying room keys or standard keys. The place is clean, has a full kitchen and a decent bathroom. Nice king bed with another sleeper. Sleeper wasnt extremely comfortable but it served its purpose.

  The property is superbly located in walking distance of the beach, restaurants, bars, right on Ocean Drive...couldn't be better. The photos show the exact look of the condo, which is very sleek and clean cut, however sadly there were small problems with the finish of areas (the handle fell off the freezer, the towel rail screws were loose, the washer/dryer didn't work, no wi-fi access, as promised, in the corridor). On arrival the air conditioning didn't work, this was corrected within 24hours of us notifying the agent though. We were only notified of the washer/dryer not working a couple of days before our arrival, which was of slight inconvenience as we stayed for 2 weeks. We were allowed access to another condo, but not until the end of our first week, and then the time period within which we could wash our clothes was very limited considering the length of the wash and dry cycle. That machine would not complete the dry cycle either. The owner did compensate us a night's stay as a result. Whilst I was there my boyfriend did most of the correspondence as he is American so the cost was minimal. He found the agent abrupt and rude, as he's not the calmest of people there was some friction over the phone. A couple of days after we arrived I had a call from my banks fraud line, which wasn't a cheap phone call to receive in itself. They reported that the agent had debited the remaining 50% balance from my debit card that I'd initially used to make the online deposit. I had not agreed to this, the agent asked how we wished to pay and we replied by credit card, I had previously had a conversation via email with the agent about how I wished to pay by debit card when leaving the deposit, so the agent should already have been aware that I wished to use a different type of card. She did not at any point say that she was going to take immediate action to take the remaining money, so I was not given the opportunity to provide the new card details. I found this incredibly unacceptable and it left us in a financial predicament. Finally, the room was not cleaned AT ALL over our 2 week stay, nor the bedding changed, massively inconvenient without washing facilities. This was not what I expected as I had paid a cleaning fee, what was that for...to guarantee we arrived to a clean apartment?! All in all, the down sides were such a shame, the location is fantastic, quiet and perfectly situated, it was the just the management of the property that faultered.
