Welcome to Margaritaville on Lake Norman! We have shared her with guests for four years & were even featured on the Travel Channel's "tiki bar" vacation home segment at THEIR request! This gorgeous lakefront home boasts both an inside and an outside tiki bar for entertaining. Bring the whole family because our Margaritaville has six bedrooms, 2.5 baths and sleeps 15 people. We have a beach for the kids (with beach toys)and a relaxing firepit. Build a crackling fire next to the lake in the evening & watch the sun set and the waterfowl prepare for sleep; wonderful!
Or stay inside and snuggle up next to the fireplace (it's easy; just push a button!);relax and enjoy!
We have a dock on property so bring your boat (or two or three!. There's plenty of water; even in the worst of the drought our guests were able to bring their boats! Everything you could want in a true lake vacation is here;the only thing missing is Jimmy Buffet, but our guests tell us they play his music often on the outside speakers.
The kids are in play heaven with the LARGE playhouse, and the beach by the lake; the parents can relax and watch them play to their hearts content.
Beautifully decorated in a real Margaritaville theme complete with two tiki bars...one inside and one outside and tastefully appointed with Ernest Hemingway in mind with antiques scattered throughout the home.
We offer a full kitchen to prepare any meal you like. Dine in on our custom crafted dining table which will seat everyone or dine on the deck.
We can provide premium bed linens as well as all cotton towels for 8 & your beds are made up and waiting for you to arrive and enjoy! Just bring your bathing suits!
We have a separate sundeck for you sunbathers and a covered deck as well. You will never forget this vacation!!

Dear Richard and Mary,
Our whole family (9 adults and 9 children & one more on the way!) had the best time on our vacation this year at Margaritaville on Norman Lake! The house was roomy, had everything you need, and was plenty big enough for all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the Tiki bars, the two decks and the convenience of having my son-in-laws boat docked right on the property. The grandchildren loved spending the week with their cousins and had so much to do! We lit a fire in the fire pit at night and the kids had a great time making Smores! The grandchildren played in the big playhouse by the decks and everyone played in the lake! I was glad to see that there was a small sandy beach so the little ones could walk out into the water gradually. Of course, those that could swim just jumped in off the dock! They had a blast!! The grandchildren were taught how to fish and it was nice to see the surprise and pride on their faces when they pulled Sun Fish out of the lake! Little did we know that they would be up everyday after that, about 7:00 am, to go fishing off the dock!!!
With our vacation week over, we left on Sunday and drove 10 hours home only to realize that my suitcase and games fell out of the truck and may still be in the driveway at Margaritaville. My daughter called you and thanks to your quick response, which put my mind at ease, we were surprised and thankful to learn that the maintenance man had found them when he came to clean for the next family!! My sincere gratitude goes out to the maintenance man who found my bags and to you for kindly mailing them back to me intact. Thank you so much, I really appreciate your honesty and kindness!! We had a wonderful family vacation this year and we look forward to spending another vacation at Margaritaville in the future!!!

DEEP WATERFRONT YEAR ROUND - WHEN THE DROUGHT WAS LEAVING OTHER DOCKS DRY WE WERE STILL DOCKING BOATS ALL THE WAY THROUGH! Dock is out far enough to make it safe for your kids to swim between the dock and land, creating your own private pool! Fishing, skiing, swimming, we have it all! Beautiful view from just about everywhere in the house. The lake surface is approximately 32,500 acres, with 520 miles of shoreline, eight miles wide at it's widest point and 34 miles long.

The relaxing weekend was just what we needed. We made the trip to the area to visit a good friend of ours who has battling cancer. The owners of the home were very helpful in accomodating us on such a short notice. The home is located directly on a beautiful section of lake with a gorgeous view at night with all of the lights across the lake. There were only 5 of us staying in the home, but it would accomodate many more, very spacious. My son was very happy to be able to step out onto the dock and fish anytime that he wanted to. We would love to come back when we have more time to be able to enjoy the home and lake more. Thank you for accomdating us and we hope to return soon!

We stayed at the owner's other lake house before and thought we would try this one this time and loved it too! It was a little more affordable for our budget because it is smaller but is still 6 bedrooms and gave us the chance to have our extended family join us. The house was clean and the sheets (all 100% cotton) were great. Now my wife is only going to want 100% cotton sheets at home.... First of all this is a great lake house! Lots of sliding glass doors (two in the master) opening onto the deck. Also there is no house on one side; just woods and we had lots of privacy. The deck is great; both with shade and without. The grandparents did rent a boat but had so much fun relaxing and swimming on the dock that we didn't use it much. Thanks again; think I'll try your house on the beach next!
