My husband and I renewed our vows after 10years and rented this house. It was beautiful, clean, exactly as described on the website, and close to the beach and all ammenities. Richard has thought of everything! From a playpen for my toddler, to extra toys for the beach, to even extra spices if you wanted to cook a special meal. My parents joined us and loved it. Richard prepared the house so you wouldn't need anything, but if you did, he was attending you in minutes. Thank you Richard and Claudia for your hospitality, letting us rent out your beautiful home, and making our renewal extra special. This is somewhere we would love to stay at again in the near future. Perfect location for a family gathering. House is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located. We enjoyed cooking, swimming in the pool (perfect for the little ones), evening and early morning walks on the very clean nearby beach. I would definitely recommend!

This is the 3rd time we stay with Richard and his family at their SPI condo. We feel very blessed and lucky to have met them and come to enjoy their hospitality. On two occasions my entire family (Parents to Grandchildren) of 15 have stayed here comfortably. On the third occassions my wife's family of 11 made the trip with the same results. The condo is in a terrific location and is furnished beautifully. The living space is very adequate for large groups as you can tell. The price is very resonable in comparison to other SPI options. All major cooking appliances and utensils are provided. The private pool and patio provide hours and hours of fun. There is a very nice ping pong table in the garage if you so desire. A bike is provided for anyone wanting to take a ride. Beach toys (boogie board etc) are provided and located in the garage. For the outdoor griller in the group, Richard has both a Gas and very nice metal BBQ pit. Washer and dryer are located on the 2nd floor for on the spot cleaning. Check in and out are painless and convinet. If you come with and open mind the only hassel you will have on your stay will be when it is time to check out and no one wants to!

This beach house is totally worth it!!! Richard and Claudia showed us a great time. The house is very clean and spacious. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and recieved great service! There is no need to bring extra's they provide everything for you. Me and my family went with a total of 11 people and slept very comfortably. We will definently return to south padre island and book this beach home as our stay!!! Thank you so much Claudia and Richard. I will reccommend this home to any family thats wanting to get a beach house stay!!

Nothing Ever Happens on Mars

We are on the Island for a work conference this week, and unfortunately we were only able to stay for two nights. Richard and Claudia provided great service with a smile, and the property is out of this world. You'll find ample space for your family. Three bedrooms are upstairs; one downstairs, with two full baths. The furnishings are up to date. The beds are comfortable. And the house is clean. I would definitely stay here again, and it's a steal at this price during the off-season.

We vacationed on the island for 4 days, 3 nights. We had a total of 5 adults and 9 children and we all fit very comfortably in this house. There was even a sofa sleeper that we didn't have to use. Beautiful interior - bamboo floors, granite counter tops, beach theme decor, etc... It is literally a block to the beach and they provide an all-terrain type wagon that we loaded all of our stuff into and rolled it right onto the beach. We just walked back and forth to the beach, it was so convienant. Little ammenities like a ping pong table in the garage, the pool out back, a spare play yard for little ones, etc... just made our stay a delight. I would highly recommend this propertly to anyone. The owners are wonderful to communicate with and really took care of us while we where there.

My family, my sister's family and my parents had a really enjoyable vacation here in July. The home was wonderful and had everything we needed. We had two 3 year olds and two 3 month olds. The kids loved the pool and the beach was super close. The provided wagon, beach toys, and chairs were great! The kids also loved the bunk beds. There was plenty of room for all of us and we would definitely stay here again.

We had 5 adults and 2 kiddos for our vacation that was in June. The condo was very clean and comfortable. I found the pictures didn't really do it justice once I saw it in person. Very well thought out and the decor was great. The kids of course really enjoyed the pool. The temperature was a little warm. It would have been better to have cooler water, but I am not sure that is possible with the Texas heat. The kitchen had everything we needed. I can't think of anything we needed that we couldn't find. The property owners were right next door and yet I never saw them or felt intimidated. It was very nice and comfortable. We are definately planning on trying to book this property every year! It really was an enjoyable stay.

My family consisting of 4 adults and 2 children spent a week at this home. The pictures don't do it justice---it's even nicer in person. It really is a lovely home. The owners have thought of everything too. We had a very relaxing time there as a result. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the island.
