House very clean; kitchen well-equipped. Would like to have had a mirror in the upstairs bedrooms. Only complaint is that the double bed mattresses in the up and downstairs bed rooms were lumpy (downstairs particularly uncomfortable). Liked the location....made getting around both cities quite easy.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you Susan for your review. There currently is a removal synthetic down mattress pad on the main level queen bed which is possibly why the bed felt lumpy. I apologize if it was uncomfortable and will definitely give future guests the heads up that the mattress pad is removable should they find it uncomfortable as well. I will look into the upstairs mattress as well and thank you for the mirror suggestion. We will definitely be adding mirrors next year to the bedrooms. Thanks again and please come back soon! Sincerely, Angie & Matt

Loved this cute home in the center of Minneapolis! Our family of five enjoyed the home for our Christmas holidays. I cooked both Christmas Eve and Christmas day out of the well layed out and well stocked kitchen. We also enjoyed the family/dining room layout. The open floor plan was nice for those who were playing games and those who were watching the football game so we could all be together. The home was decorated in a nice clean contemporary fashion with not a lot of things clogging walls and floors. It was also clean and tidy with bright wood floors. The owners were very accomodating and provided some items that I could leave at home. I was concerned about parking in the street but there are spaces behind the home in the alleyway. We enjoyed are stay and will come again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Thank you for your kind review! Please come back soon. Sincerely, Angie & Matt

This residence is very clean and well-maintained with a new bathroom and kitchen. Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, we found we were close to and could easily drive anywhere in the Twin Cities. The owners were generous in responding to our questions and requests, and made sure the sidewalk and steps were shoveled immediately after snow fell. The large backyard really could accommodate a camper, as well as off-street parking. We will definitely consider this residence for future visits.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you for the review Karen. We are glad you found the home conveniently located, one of our favorite things about living in the neighborhood and city! We look forward to having you back soon. Sincerely, Angie & Matt

This house was very cute and very clean. It is in a quiet neighborhood with pretty good access to all Minneapolis attractions. I would not say that it sleeps 7 though. We had 4 comfortably. A kid could sleep on the sofa/futon. The owners are very good to work with and very accommodating.Owner response: Thank you for your feedback Catherine. Our maximum occupancy is 7 & there are sleeping arrangements for 7, however I agree that it is more comfortably suited for a group of 5 or less. Thank you again and please come back soon! Sincerely, Angie & Matt

Our family loved this house for a 6 week rental. We liked that you could park right in front of the house on the street or in the back yard via an alley. It was convenient to downtown Minneapolis sites. The streets nearby were biker friendly, making my husband's commute to St. Paul's campus very easy by bike. It is convenient to Target, grocery stores, libraries, post office, and a corner market (Joe's Market) for grabbing a freshly made sandwich or a grocery item. We liked walking to a nearby park (Van Cleve Park) with a nice playground as well as walking to Dinkytown to enjoy the restaurants (especially Five Guys and Qdoba Mexican Grill) and take in the campus life. As for the house, it has nice hard wood floors throughout and an updated kitchen. It was clean, freshly painted, and nicely decorated. The windows are new and easy to open. Laundry is right on site in the basement. The neigborhood was amazingly quiet and appeared to have many college students living there. We felt safe. The landlords were very responsive to our needs and nice people to deal with. Their care for this property was obvious. All in all, this place is a winner!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you Joanne for your feedback. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed many of the great amenities that our neighborhood has to offer. We hope to hear from you again soon! Sincerely, Angie & Matt
