  What can I say that others have not? We first stayed in the Black Bear cabin and even our teenage grandsons were impressed. It was everything that we wanted, needed and more. My oldest grandson said it was the first time he had ever gone home from a vacation with all his clothes clean, ha! We were fortunate to stay in the Fishermans Folly after another rental later in the month was a disaster-not one of theirs-and we could not stay there. Jacque asked me to compare the two cabins and, really, it is very difficult. Other than the decor they both go above-and-beyond the usual vacation rental and if we could have brought either cabin home with us, we would have! I could imagine us, a retired couple, living comfortably in either of them. Truly a home away from home! Rating: 5 out of 5

  We had an excellent stay in the cabin. They thought of everything!! The cabin was cleaned and fully stocked, just as they promised. We will be staying here again on our next trip up! Thanks again for a fantastic place to stay! E and E

  I absolutely loved this place! I felt that it was worth every penny! It totally beat staying in a hotel; for the same amount of money. It was very clean and homie!! My boyfriend is stationed at Eielson AFB, so this was a GREAT getaway for him! It was also a great place to unwind after we toured the city. We literally had everything we needed in this cabin(fisherman folly). The only thing we brought were groceries. The owner of this property are very nice. I have recommended this place to my friends and family who plan to visit Alaska. Once my guy earns more leave(which will be in November) I will be staying here again. We'll probably stay at "the blackbear", because my son will be with us!

  We stayed in September 2011 long weekend and this house exceeded all expectations! ! My 7 years daughter enjoyed the house most. It was a fabulous house, fully furnished, spacious and very private. The house was very clean, well equipped, well decorated, We loved Homer and will be back again and hope to stay in this house because it was a large part of what made this such a wonderful vacation. This house is like your own private resort. Excellent customer service as well.

Daily Rate: $99-135 per night for 2 adults. 
$20 extra per person, per night (over 2 guests, 2 children under 12 exempt)
Weekly Rate: $600-$800 plus $100-$140 per person (after 1st two adults)
Monthly Rate: $1600-$2900 plus $300 per person (after 1st two adults)
plus applicable tax  5% Borough and (2% City up to $10)
