This oceanfront condo was great for our family of 4. The deck is spacious, with woods to one direction and the ocean to the other. Because it is on the first floor, you don't have much view of the beach but you do have a great view of the ocean. Inside is attractive, comfortable, and well furnished. The back outdoor storage area is quite convenient for beach gear. The location of the condo is great, but I suspect there are no bad locations on Kiawah!

Best Deck in Windswept!
Best Deck in Windswept!
Spot-on description -- well thought out renovations -- spotless, upscale and relaxing -- artwork a plus! Gourmet kitchen a pleasure -- extra touches of beach towels, etc. appreciated. One of our guests is a professional artist, and she painted and sketched on the deck each day in different lights -- did some incredible work inspired by the views. We all enjoyed the deck for morning coffee, sunbathing and al fresco meals -- the size and views are the best in Windswept. Definitely recommend this Villa to anyone looking to get the most out of their oceanfront vacation.

I wanted to write to you and tell you that we absolutely fell in love with Kiawah Island and your villa. Your villa was very modern, well appointed and absolutely warm and inviting. Our oldest son who is 3 1/2 years old was thrilled to have his own room and bathroom. The master bedroom was very spacious and there was plenty of room for our pack and play for our younger son. The view from the balcony is amazing! We loved seeing the ocean through the lush green dunes and the palm trees. The balcony was very spacious as well. We really liked how part of the balcony was in the shade and part was in the sun. This is perfect for my husband and I as sometimes we prefer one over the other. The linens, bath towels and beach towels really lightened our load as did the beach umbrella, beach chairs and beach toys. The washer and dryer were essential for us as having two little ones always results in lots of laundry. The location of your villa is perfect as we spent lots of time on the beach and really enjoyed the short walk over the boardwalk. We also spent some time at Night Heron Park and your villa was within easy walking distance. We rented bikes during our stay and rode them on the beach, which was a first and now a must for us. The kids loved being pulled along in the trailer that hitches on to the bike. We had incredible weather throughout our stay. One of the biggest changes for us from previous beach vacations was the temperature of the ocean. It was absolutely perfect! We are used to the water being cold, having previously stayed off the coast of North Carolina, but South Carolina did not disappoint with its bath like water temperature. Throughout the week, we found horseshoe crabs, starfish, crabs, clams and saw a couple of baby sharks that were caught on the beach from surf fisherman. We loved seeing the alligators, egrets and shrimp boats as well. We traveled to Kiawah in hopes of having an enjoyable time and ended up finding our new annual vacation spot! We have decided that we will definitely return to Kiawah Island next year. This is the beach that we want to discover with our sons more and more each year. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at your villa again as it was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. When do you start booking for 2012? I will contact you once we solidify our plans for next year. Thanks again for letting us enjoy your beautiful vacation home. My family and I treasured every moment there.

Kiawah is Terrific

My children love coming to Kiawah. This unit doesn't have access to the resort pools, but we never used them anyway. The beach is way more interesting. We hadn't been down for a couple of years and the grocery store at Freshfields was new to us. They have fresh seafood and prepared meals, as well as everything else you would expect to fine in a market. We parked our car and rode bikes everywhere. This villa was very clean, very comfortable, and equipped with many things that made our stay more enjoyable. Pam Harrington Exclusives is great to work with.

Easy to Love
Easy to Love
My husband and I and another couple rented this unit last fall and had such a good time. I sat on the deck and read while everyone else golfed. We left the windows open at night so we could hear the ocean, and had our coffee on the deck every morning. Kiawah is so easy -- no traffic jams, no waiting in line. The restaurants can be pricey, but we cooked a couple of nights. The market at the entrance to Kiawah has good fish, and this kitchen is very well equipped.

We really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful Condo. We were able to just relax, have a nice walk on the beach and go out for a lovely dinner for just the 2 of us. It was so nice to hear the ocean at night and wake to it again in the morning. Very quiet and peaceful. Thanks again. David & Cathi

Perfect Location, Amenities of Home
Perfect Location, Amenities of Home
I have been bringing my family to Kiawah for roughly 15 years, and this is the most well-appointed accommodation we’ve stayed in on the island. The attention to detail that the owners put into every aspect of the unit is phenomenal; it made our stay feel like it was just an extension of home. Also, a lot of times we’ve been put in units that are not necessarily right on the beach. This unit is just a boardwalk away. There is a huge indoor deck to the left when you walk in the front door, which was a really great place to put our sandy beach equipment. We had dinner on the second deck, which over-looks the ocean, several nights. Otherwise, the unit is next door to the four-star Sanctuary Hotel, which has multiple dining options, as well as an ice cream shop. East Beast Village is another close dining option, and offers pizza, sandwiches, and supermarket fare. Kiawah island is the perfect family getaway, with fun, vibrant activities for kids of all ages. Try sending the kids to Kamp Kiawah - our kids love it every year, and this unit is across the street from Night Heron Park where the camp meets and a lot of the activities take place. Also, the dolphin cruise and dolphin kayaking are a big hit, as is the Mingo Point Oyster Roast. We will be staying in 5106 Windswept again next year.
